Per Ford Order Guides rain sensing wipers were never available on the Badlands. The only trim level where it has been available is Outer Banks.

My ‘24 Big Bend has rain sensing wipers. Part of the Convenience Package (or whatever package) I believe.

My Badlands doesn’t have them. It only has two options, the tech package and moonroof.

Accurate. This is the only option Badlands doesn't have other than lighted cupholders, which all the trims lost pretty quickly. It was never an option for USA Badlands builds.

Honestly, I had them in my previous vehicle and I turned them off. They would run amuck every once in a while. I prefer just adjusting the speed.

me also, but I have been pretty impressed how good they work in my OB along with the auto headlights.. they made some serious improvements even in the last 4 years over my wife's ford edge.

I am "old school", IMHO it is an unnecessary electrical add on. More electrical stuff, more stuff to break. Just turn on the wipers when it starts to rain like we used to do.

I agree with you over all. But the car does one additional thing. As an added feature of the "Auto" headlamps, when you flip on the wipers, after about 30 seconds or so, the car will change the lamps from DRL to "on" so the driver isn't driving around in the rain without lights. This is an often ignored legal requirement in many states including here in Oregon.

I've been wondering about this feature, because I thought my BL was supposed to have it, but I don't see a setting to turn it on. Mine was built in July and arrived at the dealer on 8/19.
