there is no transmition pan, thats how you would do a filter change on any other normal trans. to do anything like service the strainer you have to split the transmition case which means it comes right out of the car.
that seams quite excessive, it is about 80 to 100 bucks US in oil as it is aproximatly 5 qt that gets replaced in a drain and fill. then about 1 hour of labour.
Im going to try that . hot dam it works haha. but I did find out you can't do it on the sevice screen, you have to be on the main screen which would explain why it never worked for me before, I was trying to refresh the tire psi while watch it.
ya I got them when they were only on the market for a few months, some one told me to check them out, then my daughters boyfriend got me a screeming deal on them and I was totaly impressed. hopefully I can get them with out having to pay the full price when these are work out. so far I have...
I have the maintance package and their schedual they use does it every 48000km which is about 30000 miles. I just had my second one done today at my 96000km service along with sparkplugs. so what is in out maintenace schedual in the manual is different from what ford does, so maybe look at the...
I am finishing my second winter with the cooper discoverer road and trail AT's and I couldnt be more impresed with them. I have been doing 65-70mph on roads and not even felt slippery and then I wonder why everyone else is doing 40mph. I get dry snow once and a while but mostly it is the ugly...
we got 6" where I live the other night, but I came home from work on my second day shift and the driveway was already meltied, woke up later the next day for my first night shift and the grass was all bare again. I have been lucky 5 good dumps this year and I haven't had to break out the shovel...
waze is far far better than google maps, and they have not incorperated 1/2 of it into google maps, they do intend on keeping it going as a seperat entity. I put google maps up after seeing this yesterday on the internet, the 3d is pathetic at best. dosent work in most areas, I guess if you...
they are in the "co-pilot plus" package along with the adaptive cruiz controle. My outter banks just has the normal co-pilot so I am missing thoes two as the "plus" is a optional add on. I think thats the only option I am missing...
weird, my experaince has been it gatches less snow and ice than my 2010 fusion did. the car wash I go to is inside a heated building and you pay by time. so by the time you park it is usaly starting to get shiny and when you hit it with the presoak you can see the ice start breaking down, then...
I find they don't collect that much, ya they get a good layer going, but I go to a car wash after every work week and get the grime and road salt off my car just intime to get it covered again the next work set  so between the presoak, soap pressure wash all the ice comes off. when I...
I have find laitly that the hourly charge and such from the autobody charge is through the roof, and hence insurance companies are writing off cars based fully on if the cost hits a certian percentage of the cars value. if you have the ability to do it your self it can be a worth wile thing.
so I pluged in forscan the other day to see if any new options were built in to the new version and to test the new cable out. I found panatonic under ambiant lighting so I said cool. enabled that, but sadly ford didn't put the multicolored LED lights in so even though I can change the colors...
my inferance was there is 6 injectors, three direct injectors and three port injectors. I have never seen in the recal or anything which bank of injectors is the issue.
thats almost funny, I am in the middle of the mountians and the 1.5L has more than enough power to go up and down the biggest grades. I can hold a grade 8 at 70mph on cruise control easy.
I was surprised with the cylinder deactivation though, I never though a three cylinde would drop down to a...
