I bought my 22 OB 3 years ago and generally speaking we liked driving it. However I have experienced to many of the issues that so many others have on here, The last straw was a cracked Catylitic converter spewing exhaust into the cabin through the HVAC (And it is a pavement queen). Diff issues, brake issues, leaking axles, leaking Trans, and finally every mechanic I follow on You-Tube says NEVER buy a Ford Eco-boost 4 cyl powered car. Not New, Not pristine, not low mileage, NEVER!

I am out,,,, you guys have fun. Bought my a Full Size with a V-6.

I don't blame you. The 2.0L would have been a better choice with a lot, if any, issues.

Don't blame you with the Bronco Sport's history of issues and recalls. We generally keep cars a long time. My F150 is 9 years old, and Mrs. T's Cherokee is 12 years old this year, but I don't think we'll have the Bronco that long.

I am leaning this way too. My MINI is 13 yrs old@ 125k, we traded in my wifeā€˜s 2015 Edge @ 9 yrs and 175k ( NO issues). Her 2024 BS BL has 24k and is waiting for a new transmission.

Pshewww… good thing all the mechanics say to never buy a 4cyl, and you got a 3cyl… you dodged a bullet on that one!

Enjoy the new ride.

We all make decisions based on our own experiences.

Hope the trade works out for you.

We'll see how my CPO 2025 Badlands works out.

May go another route in a few years.

You didn't dodge a bullet you just loaded a much bigger new gun. Hopefully gas prices don't go back up. $80k+ and only 13mpg is too big of a hit for me to ever consider a full size. (I owned a Jeep Rubicon Unlimited and when you get caught in with a head wind the mpg dropped as low as 9 mpg.) Just a FYI there are A LOT of reported issues with the Full Size Bronco like broken sway bar links, cracked hard tops, leaking roofs, and 2.7L engine valve issues and complete failures, transmission clunkiness or hesitation, air conditioning: Intermittent failure, misaligned panels, excessive road noise, and general fit/finish concerns with the full size Bronco.

GL with the full size............

Wow, I am going to have to quit this forum its too depressing. Just have to let the chips fall where they may I guess.
I researched so many vehicles for months before I bought mine, maybe watched one review that had a BS and only because I was interested in the other vehicle. lol
Test drove a couple of my earlier prospects and the first test drive of the sport which wasnt intentional and I bought it. My only regret so far is all the driver assists which I find annoying and too often the things I turn off magically seem to turn back on.
In my frenzy of impulses I now have invested in Bilstein terra sport susp and larger Toyo open country at tires. Its now even better that when I got it and only has 9,000km (5500mi).
I guess it will get a little more tlc than Im used to giving mu vehicles and hopefully that will keep me from disappointment. Even worse I had previously swore off Fords after owning them for 30yrs. Just incase you needed some reading lol.

Just remind yourself that there is absolutely no such thing as a perfect vehicle or manufacturer. Google any manufacturer and model and ā€œreasons not to buyā€ and they will all have a list. Now I’m not advocating for the prices we are getting charged for the quality of these new vehicles, I’m just realizing that all newer vehicles come with their problems

if someones expectations are absolutely zero problems for the first 75k-100k than they are setting themselves up for serious disappointment.

I don't think expecting zero problems for the first 75k-100k is unreasonable. I've been through 4 Chevy Equinox's and a Ford Escape in the last 9 years for work. Each one was sent back to the fleet company with 80k-90k on them and no issues. My 2022 BSBL has 91k on it right now.

I should have ended that with ā€œall opinions stated are out of pure desire to cope with the reality of my situationā€ hahaha

Assuming the fleet vehicles you were using were also fleet maintained, fleet vehicles are usually better maintained than the typical everyday personal vehicle which likely added to the fleet vehicles reliability.
