Yes Ive always secured the bow over the hood, I was hoping for something that wouldnt scratch the paint or put too much pressure on the grill which sticks out a bit.

Yes a little lift and those larger tires look right at home. I just noticed they were Toyos, same as mine. I got them for the winter and they have been excellent.

Thats quite the difference in recommended service miles for a trailer or car top carrier.
Heck you could throw in over sized tires and a lift kit or anything else that you notice causes you to burn more fuel to speed up how often transmission service is required. Good to know.
