I really, really, really wanted these! However, I could not convince my wife of her need for them ( ours came with Pirelli’s). Secondly, last Wednesday when we got the 4” of snow, her BS was headed to the dealer for a possible new trannny at 24k miles.
At least my MINI is good in the snow.
Our BSBL with 24k did the same thing on Friday, pulling into a parking spot. Warning flash: Shift System Issue, engage parking brake before exiting. Vehicle not in park. Engage parking brake. This went on for two days anytime the BS was slowing down.
We have a service appointment tomorrow. Even...
Alright, I’ll bite. I am a retired Chef of almost 40 years.
You could take a moderate to very spicy BBQ sauce, add Cherry, Blackberry or similar and get a fascinating sauce, I know, I’ve made them.
it works better on beef than pork.
the only good thing about Arby’s are the Jamocha Shkes.
I see you are in Texas, in the colder climes like Michigan, we get winter gas. This also delivers less mpg.Last week we filled up and saw a 370 mte. Drove 2 states over and refilled, 420 mte. Highway driving jacks up the Miles To Empty. Nothing wrong with the gauge, just hyper accurate.
We stopped in Goderich a few years back to hear the bagpiper at sunset on our way to Tobermory, very nice town. Wish I had known about that beer, it sounds bery tasty.
If you feel that it needs to be flushed at 20k, I would consider upgrading the fluid. When I put upgraded rotor and pads on my MINI, we also upgraded the fluid and installed SS hoses.
DOT 3, every 20k
DOT 4, every 30k
Brake fluid should be flushed about every 50k miles. When the fluid heats up from braking(ie: long descents) it will condense and eventually rust internal parts.
Your individual results may vary.
I forgot! If you have not left foot braked in awhile, start practicing now. My wife has never done it, and it was a neck snapper for me in the passenger seat. I always left foot and it was smooth
We stayed in Townsend, Highland Manor, very nice. However, tripadvisor came out with the best restaurants in the U.S. Number 21 is the Dancing Bear Bistro, I had the rabbit and it was amazing! Make reservations if you want to go.
I am truly sorry for your situation and the amount of time this is taking. After looking at the procedure on how to get it into neutral, with tools and everything, thank God I still drive a manual transmission.
