I know, I know. This topic has been brought up numerous times already with no definitive answer but I keep checking online sources such as Ford Authority and there's still no timeline as to when the refreshed 2025 Ford Bronco Sport will make its official debut. I also realize that it's not nearly as popular as its platform mate, the Maverick. That's probably the reason why it was unveiled first despite the Bronco Sport pre-dating the Maverick by a year. So in my book, the Bronco Sport should've been unveiled first and then the Maverick. But with the ever-growing popularity and demand for the Maverick, that just wasn't the case.

I guess you can say I'm getting a bit impatient and I need to just shut up and wait it out. I just don't get it because it's been fully leaked on Ford Authority for the past several months so it should be any day now, right? It's not like there's a drastic change in scenery. Thankfully, they didn't make the same mistake as the Maverick by redesigning the front fascia for the worst. The only things they did on the outside was change the grille pattern and added mounting brackets for a push bar in the front/rear for a possible new trim or as on option on an existing trim. As for the inside, they did upgrade the infotainment system with the latest 13.2 inch Sync 4 unit that's in the new Maverick, Escape and Mustang. Everything else appears to be the same.

On that note, I wonder when the refresh for the full-size Bronco will finally come into play? That was also released for 2021 like its smaller brethren and hasn't received an update since either. Although it looks good in my eyes but I know that the industry constantly wants change. I'm guessing 2026 for that one? I know that's an answer on the Bronco 6G forum but I don't want to create an account on a vehicle that I don't have just to answer a speculative question.

"Where is 2025 Bronco Sport" seems like a decent stand-alone topic to me.
Answer: Everyone is behind, parts shortages, chips, personnel, etc...

I was on the 4runner forum and apparently the 2025 is delayed until the end of the year for the reasons above. And I know the 2024 Landcruisers are still just trickling out.

Maybe the new normal will be cars come out closer to the model year.

I know in the past, current inventory was a big consideration, turn rate, more supply than demand. I can't see supply chain effecting it much with so few changes. "Quality control " was often a blanket statement that looks good and is rarely questioned. I'm not saying it's not a good thing. After you wade through all the reasons, 99% of the time it's a financial decision. Certainly not unique to Ford though. I haven't looked at national inventory levels, but our nearest small city dealer has 20 of them. Far more than any other model.

Ford Authority just posted an article about a reveal of a possible Sasquatch trim for the Bronco Sport maybe being unveiled on 8/26. Short video of a muddy Sport with a sasquatch hand writing that date on the rear lift gate.

I don't think the Bronco Sport needs much of a refresh yet. It still looks "fresh" to me. Sync 4 would be nice. Some different colors. Different wheels.

I agree that it doesn’t need a drastic refresh just yet. However, it does need improving in some areas.

This is what I would like to see:
  • Better interior fit and finish. Too many cheap plastics causing annoying little rattles and other noises, especially by the center console.
  • More durable paint, if possible.
  • More soundproofing/dampening.
  • Make the B&O sound system actually premium, because it currently is not. Not even close.
Ford should focus on improving quality. Quality matters more than anything else.

I wonder if this might be part of the delay. Just checked my local Ford dealer and 4 in Seattle area. Local dealer has 20 Bronco Sports in the lot. The 4 Seattle area dealers I checked have 12 .. 22 .. 53 .. and 82 of the 2024 BS on their lots. Not sure about the rest of the country, but maybe Ford is waiting for inventory to go down.

I agree about the better interior fit and finish i have rattle and squeaking noises myself on most days Wednesday i put the windows down hours before i left for work no noises at all. Yesterday i didn't put the windows down until i left for work and the noises were back. Otherwise i have nothing to complain about.
