Wow impressive!! #2 is a huge surprise!!
Comparatively though I am not sure I’d go beyond the top 2…biggest issue in winter is braking under ice conditions - at least for my application
Not under normal conditions — cars shouldn’t consume coolant over time.
Here’s how it works:
🧊 Coolant is part of a sealed system.
It continuously circulates through the engine, radiator, and heater core. The system is designed to be closed, meaning no coolant should escape or “get used up.”...
This is a lot of coolant dude!! I’ve had my Sport since 2023, brand new. I topped it up close to Max because it came from the factory way too close to min…
It’s 2025 now, it’s about 27 months old and the coolant has not moved.
You can also choose 3 levels for the fan, hence why you have 3 lights….
All 3 = Auto high fan
2 = medium
1 = quiet
I hate the fan noise blasting on max and it was one of the reasons I disliked auto, this fixes it! I use auto medium so I cap the fan speed.
Shhh this will hurt the Sport reputation, Mr Wizard is legendary and well known by many…
There’s definitely lots of superlatives used along the way but that’s his style…honestly this unit was purchased via auction and we don’t know the history of its previous owner - did the engine overheat...
delivery included…Jeep streamlined their line up so there aren’t many options to choose from, lots of accessories though.

same class size, but just on the bigger side. Ford might have to make the Sport bigger if it wants to retain sales from the Escape crowd.
I think the design feels very premium, same thing with the interior!
prices aren’t bad at all and are right in line with all of the competitors:
Entry level...
While Ford Authority is saying the Cherokee competes with the Mach E (weird...?), I feel like it's more of a direct competitor with the Bronco Sport. Only one powertrain, 1.6T Hybrid!!

the 1.5 represents 95% of all BS sold…you are a lot more inclined to find issues with such a huge disparity…
the 2.0 has its own set of problems but you gotta go explore the Maverick forum to find them.
1.5 owner here, no issues about to hit 60k. I do follow the severe maintenance schedule religiously and also moved away from 5w20 to 5w30 oil. Only use Shell gas.
not worth the depreciation afterwards…the 2.0L has a small footprint in the BS line up and sells for about the same as the OB in the used market….you also didn’t consider the higher insurance and the gas penalty in your girl’s math….
The OB w/ SAQ makes total sense…!
