An instrument panel display that does not show critical information, such as warning lights or vehicle speed, increases the risk of a crash.

Summary
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Bronco and Bronco Sport vehicles. The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may fail at startup.

Remedy
The instrument panel cluster software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 8, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SC3.

You can't make this stuff up. Ridiculous. What is the number so far this year? It was 135 recalls last month.
If you own a Ford, a discounted extended Ford warranty from Flood or Granger is a must have. Even more so with the 1.5L.

It's just a software update. This one is not a big deal. It has to be a "recall" due to the safety implications mentioned, but it's not like this will cause catastrophic mechanical breakdown worthy of any real concern.

IMO, of course.

My ‘21 is looking better ‘n better
I had my reasons why I bought a leftover '24 instead of the '25. The screen was a big one.

What about the old screen did you prefer? We just bought a 2025 and thought the older screen looked so out of date.
I don't like A/C and heat controls on a screen. Add in with Ford's reputation for recalls, this recall is not a surprise.
