Auto start/stop is disabled in both of my Fords. However, whether you are a fan of auto start/stop or not, when it stops working, it is a clear red flag that something is not working the way it should. If it did stop working due to a deteriorating battery or the charging system not doing its...
I don't think we're on the same page here. I agree with you on your points, but I am referring to your a/b data on Ford's servers. Once the FORScan changes you make get uploaded to the server, that is your new "permanent" data on the cloud. You can still go in with FORScan and change it back...
I took my F150 to the dealer this September for a TSB that got my tranny rebuilt for free from Ford. I took my vehicle to them with a plethora of FORScan changes, firmware from different vehicles on certain modules, a performance tune on it, intake, blow-off valve, exhaust, lift kit and...
Nothing really. In your case being on Sync 3, they can reconfigure the module to write the original data back on it if they wanted to, but even if they notice whatever you enabled or disabled, they won't care.
Sync 4 vehicles are different. They will eventually sync up with the server and...
This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. So my F150 with 25k miles has the equvalent of 250k miles because I do mostly city driving?
I am done with this thread. 🤣
I misread the OP. I thought you said you did have the B&O. Below is the one for the 6 speaker one. Everything is powered by the ACM in your case, so easiest (IMO) would be to tap into the rear door speakers. Those are referenced as woofers, so it should give you the signal you want.
I have not done it in our BS, but I added an amp/subs to my B&O powered F150. I tapped into the factory sub to get the signal and use an LC2i to eliminate the bass roll-off at higher volumes. I am not sure if the bass roll-off is an issue on these, but you can get a used LC2i on ebay for cheap...
Maintenance or not, the vehicle has 130k+ miles and is well past all warranties. Sure.....these transmission are known to have their issues, but if it lasted 130k miles, then Ford is not to blame here. The owner put 13 years of mileage on the vehicle in 3 years time and the transmission failed...
IPC resetting to MyView is a known issue affecting all Ford vehicles.
To reprogram the window, turn the truck fully on engine running. Lower window all the way and hold it for 5 seconds after it is all the way down. Then raise the window and hold for 5 seconds once it goes all the way up.
Not at all. IPC updates are about 200MB. APIM updates are the biggest ones; those can be up to 6GBs and are also done over the air. The problem is that all manufacturers (with the exception of Tesla and Rivian) struggle with rolling out over the air updates properly and in a timely manner.
I have yet to hear of any BS or Bronco owner report this happening. I am also on the Bronco6G forum. A few of the guys there have upgraded their 21-24 Broncos with the full digital cluster that comes on the 2025 and had some concerns about it since the dealer will not be able to apply the update...
I think most people would agree, but seeing the temp on the screen at anytime without having to adjust the a/c is nice. Unless you have a 2021 BS that has the digital temps on the HVAC module itself, this is a nice work-around.
Nice! Make a write up of what you did. I will probably follow your lead on this. I don't care about this feature on my F150; don't really need it since my truck has literally 8 cameras . 🤣 However, I would love to add this to our BS.
