My Big Bend has everything except the rain sensing wipers.

The wife had them on her 2019 Edge and loved them.

Running my BSBB in Sport mode disables the auto start/stop (which I find to be one of the most annoying "features" on any car.

Did you say you are also getting the right side stalk with the control for rain sensing wipers?

F150 Forum says the specific stalk with rain sensing is not needed - is just an on/off switch for the feature

I am "old school", IMHO it is an unnecessary electrical add on. More electrical stuff, more stuff to break. Just turn on the wipers when it starts to rain like we used to do.

where I found it the most handy is when passing big rigs on wet or slushy roads and they spray your windshield so you cant see. normally you have to fiddle with the wiper and get it on to high and push the spray , with the auto sensing wipers it is immediate, as soon as that hits your windshield it goes to fast and clears it before you need the spray, well good enough that you can see and are not blind.

I have lane keeping turned off also, but I leave auto start/stop on. 95% of my driving is highway so it never activates anyways and in town when it does it doesn't bother me.

You'll also need a new windshield, as far as I know, because yours doesn't have a hole for the sensor.

My Badlands is being delivered this week.
And I just discovered it doesn't have automatic wipers. Ford had the brilliant idea to remove them!
Would it be possible to add them by installing the sensor on the windshield and running the wires?

This can for sure be done. All vehicles on Sync 4 are somewhat similar, so the process here I am sure it not too different.

Yes, I'm not going to buy the right-side stalk. I just need to find the yellow wire and try it!

I"ve been wondering about this with my 22 BSBB which does NOT have them , What happens in those automatic car washes ? I"d hate to see the blades get ripped off by the brushes mid wash.

I've been wondering about this feature, because I thought my BL was supposed to have it, but I don't see a setting to turn it on. Mine was built in July and arrived at the dealer on 8/19.

What does your order sheet say?

Here I show what's under the lid
The main cable has unused wires. Could those be the rain sensor wires?
Does anyone have a photo with the sensor attached?
If anyone has the electrical diagram, I would appreciate it!
