It's a car. It's got a unibody construction (one-piece body and frame), as opposed to a truck which has a body mounted on a steel ladder frame, like the Ranger or F-150.
I have it on my 2025 Big Bend with Black Diamond off road package. I think it's on the Sasquatch package, too, but not 100% positive. Also, I think they're standard on the Badlands trim level.
If your battery is going, the disabling of the auto start/stop is one of the first indications.
The other thing that will definitely disable the auto start/stop is ambient temperature. Living in Phoenix, it auto disables from about mid-April through early November.

I had mine done on 12/08 and just checked the NTSB site ... it now shows no outstanding recalls pending. I checked it on Thursday and it was still open, so it took a while to update.
Just get the SiriusXM app and use that in CarPlay. That's how I do it in my Bronco Sport. I don't have a SiriusXM subscription in my BS, but we have one in my wife's Kia. I just log into the account and use the app in CarPlay.
