I used to always use Shell. I felt my Mopars ran best on it. Sadly there are no more Shell stations in Western NY.
PS My Mopars, with carbs, ran like garbage on Mobil. Never figured out why but it made no difference which Mobil station I went to.
Nope. I love the looks and the mileage on my BSBB. That being said I think this is my 1st and last Ford as a daily drive. Most likely going back to Jeep as of now.
As much as I'm not "in love" with my BSBB I have never once felt the car shift with the exception of when I punch it to pass someone. It shifts smooth as silk. Only notice it shifts when I see the revs on the tac drop. I do agree about the collision warning and that stupid start stop technology.
Check out TEMU . Tons of choices, Lots under $3 ! I know they're made in China but where do you think all the others come from ? Avoid the middle men. Bought some for my PY. Works fine and looks sharp.
I do too but it's a pain in the butt when you go into a store for a minute and forget to turn it off when you come out. My buddie has a Sante Fe and when he turns it off it STAYS off until he turns it back on. BTW: In 2 years he's NEVER turned it back on. lol
That's been one of my biggest worries and why I haven't taken mine off road yet. Imagine being in the middle of no where and your car decides to drop dead ? Sorry to say but I really don't trust my 22 BS even on out of town long trips. .
Seriously Why do they need cooling fans ? Seems like my fans are running constantly. Even when I unlock the BB 1st thing in the morning. I thought LED's gave off less heat ?
I like the boxy look. One reason I owned Patriots for 15 years and now my BSBB. I think it's much more practical when hauling stuff. Can't stand all those look a like slanted back SUV's out there.
I'm still running my Continentals on my BB. they were fine in the snow. Of course here in Kenmore we didn't get nearly as much as you did in Elma. Now with all the snow melt and rains I hope you're not dealing with the wide spread flooding I been seeing on Channel 4 every nite. Good luck.
I'm think that changing to the ceramic pads would only address the terrible brake dust issue on the BS. My dealer service manager told me that the problem with the whale moan sound was the bushings on the rear caliper. They are on back order so I'm just waiting for them to come in.
On 12/28 I had the dealer change my oil and rotate the tires on my 22 BSBB. As I was leaving I mentioned that aweful whale sound coming from the rear brakes now that it's cold again. Right away he said it was a bushing problem and would order me the parts. Just waiting for when they'll be in.
