Just the facts sir!
And opinions đź«Ł
And like the holes in our behinds, everyone has one. We just don't need to hate on the 1.5's because of this.

No. You’re hating. I guess you don’t realize it , somehow.
I think you're just taking it too personal. The way you're responding is as if I insulted your mother.

Since you care so much about what other people think of you, let it be known, I think your car is cool, your trophy is cool, I'm sure everyone in real life really likes you too. I'm sorry I upset you. We good?

Yeah like those things. Not everyone can think out of the box or make something work in a pinch. Have a good day! glad I could share and you are able to glean something from my ride thread

No hate, I was just stating my opinions based on experience with our 21 big bend. Some people have better luck or worse luck with them.
Right I agree, opinions are fine. Anyone can choose to ignore if needed. I didn’t take any of your opinions as hate.

My daughter has a 2021 BS with the 1.5 L engine. The water pump has fail. It was leaking but there was no indication from the warning system. She only knew it was not heating the inside of the car. Fortunately it is still under warranty. Watch for no heat as a warning sign.

Had a Dodge Caravan that went thru 2 batteries and 2 water pumps one right after the other when new it happens. Drove it for many years - summers overloaded towing a tent trailer, 3 kids and a dog. Always performed well otherwise.

all I'm saying is, I've never heard of anyone with a badlands who had a failed water pump, failed fuel injectors, or cracked catalytic converter.
Maybe not a Badlands, but there are reports of problems with those systems in the 2.0L EcoBoost:

https://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/31891-fuel-system-problem/

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/easy-to-change-water-pump-on-2-0-ecoboost-engine.28989/

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/catalytic-converter-replacement-at-200-miles.129029/

EDIT: Correction, the last link is for the 2.3L EcoBoost used in the Mustang.

Thanks for the

Thanks for the info. Last one is a 2.3l
Yes, you're correct--the Mustang uses the 2.3L. I believe the block is the same, but I don't know about the water pump. I'll add a correction on my post.
