    I wash and spray water on the hinges and door jams every time I clean the Bronco. I just leave the hatch and doors open to air dry.

    Ours also holds a little less than a gallon. Nothing is wrong with it, just the way it is.

    I plan on cutting slits like this and hammering it over flat. Then have the area sprayed with line-x bed liner.

    Careful. The pinch weld is right against the felt liner. Could cut your tires.
