CyanLabs has posted Build 23188. Based on comments that users have made, this build maybe the solution for the rwdata partition issue.

Ford has announced they are ready to release Nav maps NA 2 22 during the week of August 14.

The last Map update NA 2 21 was released at the same time as a Sync build update was released.

Hope it is Build 23188 (and not the confusing 23088 naming) and that’s only 9 days from now. ?

T-3 days to the latest Sync3 map update (available on or near August 14th, 2023) and there’s still no Sync update available to fix the 3.4.22251 issues. Times a-ticking Ford.

I was told that the 3.4.23188 will be released by Ford end September, you can get it from CyanLabs.net. They Syn3 Updater is available to update to 3.4.23188, this version fixes the SLOGS, which in turn fixes the issues of 22251 going to default due to the RWDATA memory depletion

Yep was told end of August, then told end of September. Rumor of the Sync update coinciding with the Nav update 8/14. I’m one of the people that will not go the Cyan Labs route but is an option for others.

I haven't downloaded the 23188 yet either....I am still weighing the risks vs. options ...I know of many others who didn't have issues...but my luck LOL.

Ok, I’ve noticed today I was in San Marcos after doing my Amazon Flex deliveries in my car, and apparently, I had my phone connected to iHeart, but it lost all of my Bluetooth connection settings in conjunction with the rwdata issue. Had anyone noticed this new issue? It’s really frustrating to me now that we have another problem. I believe my keypad to lock the car from the outside w/o the key doesn’t work. FordPass worked intermittently when my dealer did the Telematics Programming, and it didn’t solve anything relating to the data issue. My APIM has other error codes that state that there’s a loss of the hybrid power control module and other various things that I don’t even remember. Has anyone experienced this on their Bronco Sports? I’m praying that an update will come out simultaneously with the new navigation build. Do we expect any changes with this next navigation build?

I need this update sooner than later. Any chance of it coming out with the maps update?

Always a chance. I think almost a zero chance but I’m just disgruntled lol. I’m still seeing ford dealerships saying “end of September” for the Sync update.

And it’s the 14th and I checked for the Nav update - but it is not yet available for me.

Has anyone tried reinstalling the 22251 build over itself? I found out you can reinstall the same build twice. Mine updated OTA (I did not realize it) and I got the notice there was an updated available so I downloaded and installed via USB a second time. Screen said it was updating. Curious if you install it over again if it clears out that memory issue with fresh install? Just spit balling here. I have the 22251 installed but no issues yet. I am waiting patiently.

New maps are now out, but no Sync 3 update. I am assuming that installing the new maps version will not fix the V 22251 issues. Is that correct?

That is correct, Navigation update is only for the Nav System. Sync software and Navigation software are different update packages.

Has anyone successfully installed the current Navigation Map update that became available today 8/14/2023 on the Ford website?

I installed the Navigation Map update on a known good 32GB USB Device that I formatted (exFAT) today. This is the same USB Device Ford sent me for the prior Navigation update.

I started the vehicle then inserted the USB Device into the USB-A port below the 8” Display.. immediately I got MEM_ERR0R displayed.

For that error, I will need to do the Master Reset then insert the USB Device and try the install again. (Seems likely the rwdata partition full issue with Sync 3.4.22251 may be interfering with the Navigation Map update)

I've downloaded a map on a '19 Ranger I owned after a few attempts. It was a pain in the arse for me.
With the present BS 22251, I'll pay for the map USB from Ford if it's available for sale.
