Many people are using phones that may have lint in the Lightning or USB-C ports. This will create a connection issue.
Try using a wood toothpick to check for lint.
I never said “that it only brakes on the rear wheels”. I said that when adaptive cruise control is used, the system favors the rear brakes. This helps to eliminate “nose drive” when braking. Front and rear brakes are used together.

An oil leak can create its own smell. I know what burning oil smells like. But, it is not this exhaust smell that others have noted.
I believe the “exhaust smell” is actually an oil leak.
The evaporative canister purge valve is located on the top and side of the engine. It is easily accessible. The replacement valve is an assembly and includes new tubing.
