Has anyone experienced their daytime running lights not turning off after you park the car and lock it? The lights are in Auto mode and I have to turn dial Off to get them to turn off. Seems like it started with BMS programming a while back.
Curious if anyone has had this issue and found a...
I must be lucky enough to have a good dealer. About a month ago I had the vent hose replaced along with draining RDU, replacing fluids and adding friction modifier. They said Ford would cover it under the drivetrain warranty.
I agree cars are built for shorter lifespans these days, but if the software is no longer supported, can't you just drive on the latest version and you won't have the bells and whistles? Parts I understand, but software? Or am I missing something?
Kinda makes me think of my college roommate...
I just had mine in on Monday for the battery and BMS recall and RDU TSB. '21 OB with no battery issues at all. Mine was replaced. Shop manager told me everyone who got the recall notice was getting a new battery.
They are a quality dealer though, they put my RDU TSB under powertrain...
Calm down bud, was a play on Google and their omnipresence. Didn't realize Google vs Apple was such a sensitive subject. I've put myself down for sensitivity training as a 2025 stretch goal, so you can expect better of me.
Brine, destroying cars at a rapid pace. Guy I know just spent 16 hours welding a rebuild kit to the frame on his 2008 truck. Frame totally rusted through, disintegrated. The brine mist is horrible.
We got some snow in WI. Driving around in different GOAT modes, I find sport the one I like the most for greasy snowy roads. Seems to engage the AWD faster and give better control. Thoughts?
By ventilated, are they talking about forced air, as in A/C? I have a '21 OB with the perforated seats. No forced ventilation, unless that's new to newer models.
+1 on the center console cover. Mine is neoprene, but it's great. For the white door marks, I keep a can of Armor All wipes in mine. Takes the marks away well and easy to just wipe and drive.
Same story here. Tech confirmed the noise, is going with the TSB and ordered the parts. $282 for parts and labor on the TSB vent hose that when combined with a fluid change, hopefully will fix.
Thank you for the info. I think you posted about the monitor you use, and I bought the same one from Amazon. I'll keep an eye out on this. I appreciate the information.
Since mine is a '21 OB I bought one of these to monitor an older battery, pretty slick. Curious what a "normal" readout is. Mine is 12.3ish when vehicle is off. Idle it's about 14.6ish, and while driving anywhere from 13.3-14.6. I believe that is about normal.
