Welcome here’s lil moeHello all. New here. Purchased a new 2024 BS Badlands back in March 2025. Looking to connect with others owners and came across this forum. Looking forward to browsing and connecting.
Welcome aboard! Same here on the retirement front, you’ll fit right in. Post pics!Hiya. I got my BS Freewheeling in May and have been hanging out on the reddit and facebook page, so I thought I should sign up here too. I'm probably not the demo the BS was made for, but I love the thing and that's what counts.
Retired twice now (military and contractor) and enjoying not having to get up early anymore.

I have to make sure I don't take a nap and stay up until midnight. That keeps me in bed until 6:30-7.Welcome from another retiree n00b. I picked up my BS Big Bend on Wednesday and love it.
My only question is how to you not get up early anymore? I'm awake by 4:30 every day and cannot sleep in. I thought that was the whole point of retirement.![]()

I think he meant am, not pm!4:30? Slacker.![]()
No, I knew it he meant am. I’m usually up by 0330, sometimes as early as 0200. Too many decades of working through the 24-hour cycle, too many time zones, too many 0500 flights, and too many nights of two to four hours sleep.I think he meant am, not pm!
I used to get up every morning at 4:30 as well. Now, my wife gets up at 5:30 ish and I stay in bed until 6 when she exits the bathroom. It took a few months to adjust but it’s nice getting an extra hour of sleep.
I figured you did, just trying to be funny. No, I knew it he meant am. I’m usually up by 0330, sometimes as early as 0200. Too many decades of working through the 24-hour cycle, too many time zones, too many 0500 flights, and too many nights of two to four hours sleep.
