Saw a good video this past weekend with HeavyD playing Truck soccer using a Tesla truck. At least the Rivan has smooth edges and won't deflate the ball after one hit.
Most would recommend turning off traction control. Traction control is great while you have traction. The minute you get stuck, turn it off, it is no longer helping but hurting you.
Glad you got it out.
I was in the same boat. I reserved mine in 2020 but it became clear I wouldn't see it for many years so Granger gave me a great deal on a new 22 BLBS back in 22. After driving the BLBS for a year and a half. I decided I'd keep it and get rid of the Escape and keep the 2 Door Heritage as my...
So the real issue normally is the application, not the tape itself. The part most don’t understand is that it is “pressure” sensitive adhesive. Surface preparation, environmental temperature wile installing and “pressure” are the key factors. The length of time and amount of pressure will...
I updated from the Carlinkit 3.0 to Carlinkit 5.0 yesterday. I was beginning to get more drop offs and lagging Waze display.
It was odd, for the last month it would disconnect every morning in the same area. Going home in the same area, no issues.
The new Carlinkit 5.0 works much better IMHO...
I’ve been following your question on the other forum regarding highway driving with SAS. As most have pointed out, if you knock the air pressure down a bit, the ride is very good. I know many on this forum talk about the poor gas milage and rough ride but the gas milage on my 2 door Heritage...
Agreed, that’s why HP isn’t everything. The Lightning had 4.10 rear end and Firestone FireHawks that were pretty wide. It would spin them if I wanted but they were pricey and no reason to waste the rubber.
Interesting. My 1995 Lightning was rated at 240hp. Pretty much no comparison to the 250hp BS. The Lightning would press you into the seat with the pedal floored. The BS is just fine but no where near the same feeling in the seat.
The issue I have with them is they have different ratings for the same items in multiple years. Their testing is based on a statistical quantity of one typically. It’s more the opinion of the tester than objective facts based on data.
I should have said cargo mat (floor). That has two positions. Low and high. Low if you have the small spare and high if you have the full size spare. The cargo shelf works actually well. I keep an old bath runner to assist with loading heavy items and folded up it keeps items from sliding...
Unfortunately, it does happen. Someone recently had issues with their classic car. Asked if we could analyze the fuel. Had glucose in the spectrum, none of which is normally in gasoline. Top tier or bottom tier, 87 octane or 93 octane.
More than likely the same person that keys a car just...
These change like the wind. One year they are the best thing on the road, the next, they are the biggest pos.
Buy it, drive it, if you don't like it, sell it. Needless to say, I'm keeping mine.
The Heritage is based on the Big Bend trim. If you don’t have the tow package, you will have a small spare and the cargo shelf will be on the lower location providing you with more cargo space.
The tow package would be listed as a separate option on your window sticker.
Mine broke even yesterday! Zero miles but also no gas used! I took the 2 door out for its maiden run this year.
We were at 87% totality. Pretty much a non event compared to 100% my brother saw out in northeast Ohio.
