Mine had the water pump issue and shortly after the rear end shudder/thumping. Fluid and vent hose replaced and noise still there. Goes back in tomorrow and suspect they’ll change the diff now. Have ext warranty and am getting a free rental
I suspect my water pump might be leaking although I see no signs of coolant dripping anywhere. I add about 2 or 3 ounces of water every month to keep the level at "MAX" in the reservoir. I'm ready to take it in soon for an alignment and I'll bring up the issue with the service advisor. Always something but I still like it.

I have a 23 outberbanks , mine just started this after first service interval at the dealership. ( I paid for the service contract for them to take care of the oil changes and tire rotations). At 30mph and below my bronco jumps around so bad it rattles my dash. No clue what it is and Everytime I bring it up to my service advisor it gets brushed off as " they all do that " I'm tired of the recalls already on top of it ,I feel like I live at the dealership. Getting kinda ridiculous.

Definitely sounds serious and by no means common. I would take it to another shop immediately and document the inspection. And ditch that dealer, very unprofessional statement by the advisor.

Update: got the RDU motor replaced. Part arrived to the local dealer after 10 days of waiting. "knocking on wood" everything seems to have been sorted out. The DTC codes are gone and it seems the coupler noise is gone. A shout out to the local dealer who have been really helpful on solving the issues my BB has had this last 2 years! @Ford Motor Company

Had mine in yesterday again for rdu noise after already having vent tube and oil changed. They “inspected” and found no fault and could not replicate noise. I marched down this morning insisted on a tech driving with me. Noise heard and new diff on order ??

Started hearing some noise from the RDU ....2021 out of warranty. Changed the fluid, added friction modifier and the noise is gone.

I called our regular dealer regarding the continued issue (mentioned earlier in this thread) and they suggested we get a second opinion, which we are. Luckily there is another dealer relatively close. More to follow.

Note: We have no problems or issues with our primary dealerships service department.

Hey there. I can look into your water pump and shuddering issues on my end if you'd like! To get started, can you please send over a message with your VIN and the name/location of the Ford dealer you are currently working with?
If it’s what I think you’re talking about , yes , I have the same problem on my 2021 Bronco Sport Big Bend whenever I drive below 30k/hr . Also my truck always sounds like it’s in sport mode . I just ignore it .
We have a 2021 Broncos sport and there is a technical service bulletin about the low speed shuddering. If your vehicle is under warranty, they have to fix the technical service bulletin issue. If you haven’t seen one go check one out and it’s pretty interesting because it shows every aspect of what’s wrong and how to fix it. TBS 24-2185

Word to the Wise. My son has a 2021 Bronco Sport, bought it used and it wasn't cheap. Had 86,000 miles on it. Not unreasonable milage on a vehicle. had it 8 months and started having issues with the Transmission. had 98,000 miles on it by then. Well $10,000.00 later and $3000.00 for a rental for a month. The transmission had to be totally Rebuilt. All of the Clutches were welded together and many other problems. Apparently this is an Issue other Bronco Owners are having as well in that 2021 year Model. I would have the Transmission Fluid changed every 30,000 at least. Do not follow what the Owners Manual states as the Change Interval. I used a local Transmission Shop that is very reputable in my area and they said they see this quite alot in the 2021 Year Model vehicles, The Escape and the Bronco use virtually the same Transmission and apparently they are troublesome. His also has the Popping sound from the RDU as well. They say that is Normal, My Transmission Guy says it is not. My Parents from Texas are here this weekend, they have a 2019 Escape 40,000 miles, they are stranded as their vehicle is at the FORD Dealership with a Failed RDU, that is supposidly the same one they use in the BRONCO. Just out of Warranty on Months by 6 months. Repairing the RDU, $1500.00. Same popping sound heard on slow speed turns.

I had the RDU issue start in my OBX right before I decided there was one too many issues popping up with the 1.5 BS models. I traded up to a 23 BSBL. Its sad it just seems like they through the worst parts into the lower trims. I am very happy now and fingers crossed problem free with 13k in my 23MY BSBL

I had the transmission shuddering on my 2021 BS. Luckily, my Ford dealer helped me out with Ford even though mine is out of warranty.
They ordered the Vent Hose repair (TSB 24-2185). But after doing it, they found out the RDU was at fault as well and had to be replaced. Ford owned it and replaced it.
But now they found an issue with the AWD module that they say could not be detected before the RDU was replaced. Ford will take care of it as well.
I hope that's all and that no new issues will arise after this.
