Looks like a vain attempt for a money grab. FORD is in good faith issuing a recall to a deficiency as required by law. Any judge that has this presented to him/her will toss it. Waste of time.
From what I remember reading this isn't a "safety" issue as it doesn't affect the safe operation of the brakes. This is more of an annoyance to owners. We have a 21 Outer Banks that we have been patiently awaiting the "fix" and are close to going to trusted mechanic to address. We are on...
The key words in that response are "moving too slowly".
Kind of wish they would show some urgency on the portions of the BS that can and will affect the safety of the vehicle, I.E. brakes (rear) and the RDU.
Just had out 21 OBX at the dealer (different from our main service center - 2nd opinion). Test drive with me the bronco shuddered coming out of turn, not turning. They couldn't replicate it. Was told since the TSB specifically mentions "turning" the replacement of the hose would be considered...
You can look up the TSB directly from Ford, and they show pictures and descriptions on how to fix for their mechanics. This is the link:

I called our regular dealer regarding the continued issue (mentioned earlier in this thread) and they suggested we get a second opinion, which we are. Luckily there is another dealer relatively close. More to follow.
Note: We have no problems or issues with our primary dealerships service...
Spent some time thinking about this today. If it IS "dropping to two cylinders" (into eco mode) it would be doing that all the time. This issue isn't something you can set your watch to. Wife just texted and mentioned the shuddering is still present and the bronco in general is running rough...

We recently took our '21 OBX with 56k miles in specifically to investigate this, and our dealer came to the same conclusion as well. They also identified a faulty water pump (hadn't noticed any leakage) and replaced it.
Forums like this are an awesome source of data from customers. Knowledge...
We just had our 21 OBX in to investigate the RDU issue @ 56k miles (I also have commented regarding the RDU on another thread), and they replaced the water pump after finding a leak which was causing friction (their words) due to low coolant, and stated the RDU issue at low speeds was one...
Actually, coming from an odd person (me) the question is normal!
I have found these forums extremely helpful, and the members posting / responding are extremely polite.
We do have a '21 Sport Outer Banks (hence why I am here) and we recently purchased a '25 Explorer
Being TOTALLY...
Adding on to this, to document the process/progress:
We have a '21 Outer Banks with ~54k miles.
We have been experiencing the chatter / shudder at low speeds (i.e. 0-10 MPH) and occasionally when turning either direction.
We just dropped it off at the dealer so they can perform a diagnostic...
I know the feeling! 67/68, stay in the right hand lane (4 lane divided hwy) and listen to that sucking sound of money being pulled our of their wallets as they pass on by!
