It leads me back to my original point. If the salt and antiskid gets under it it's toast. I guess it begs the question, what's worse corrosion from stagnant road debris or corrosion from rock chips.

If I'm buying a vehicle from them it shouldn't effect anything. That's on them. Ive never been made to feel bad over a review in my life until I went to ford

I'm going to say that ford original " deflector" is more for rock chips than actually diverting the bugs. This one is so low profile I do not believe that it changes the dynamics of the wind at all
