Rear bumper lights arrived today so had to do a quick bench test.
So with those working I went ahead and ran power wires for a switch and a signal wire from switch location to the rear bumper area. Just in time with the sun going down.
Purple wire is my power for high setting I will be using as rear fog.
I'm going to make a small box to mount the switch inside and mount box under the seat. Pretty crude solution but I hate the idea of drilling into the dash for a switch. It's a temporarily permanent solution as I may later be using an aux beam switch controller for all auxiliary items.
Power and ground are ran from passenger footwell fuse panel, across to driver side and tucked under center console trim towards the back of drivers seat and then turns forward.
Signal power wire is joined under the seat (will be zip tied out of the way) and ran under B pillar and rear driver side door trim, behind rear cargo trim and through a hole I found into area behind tail lamp harness plug, then neatly ran through that harness plug sleave and taped back up neatly. Ready for further install.
