They’re quite nice, honestly. Not very heavy, either. I’d weigh them, but it’s 100° out and 85% humidity. I wanted to open them, check them, and get into AC.

Everything is ready to go. Got a quart of Pentosin DOT4 LV ready, my manual vacuum bleeder, coated rotors, and Brembo brake pads all set. Tomorrow is gonna be… interesting.

Also, the calipers from the Volvo S60R came in. They have the same knuckle bolt pattern, while I’ve got the factory one off, I’m going to see how it fits.

Rotor size comparison. Clearance to factory dust shields. Passenger side mounted. Now to connect them up and bleed them.

I don’t even know how to explain how nice these stop. Went and got the brakes bedded in, and when I got home the rain storm of the year started. So, good timing on my part on that.

But ya… ummm… holy crap stopping power.

that's awesome. you were busy this weekend. really making me want some 18" wheels. I've always felt like stopping power is lacking in this small vehicle.
