Move up (maybe) to a full size Bronco?

When I ordered my 21 BL I wanted a Wildtrak with Sasquatch, but was told a two-year wait and I said to hell with that and went with a BL. After driving it for two years it fits our needs perfectly. So much so that I ordered a 23 that is scheduled for production this week. I still wish it had a low range, though.

Nope, the big Bronco is just too noisy. I'd only consider it in a redesigned that specifically addressed that problem.

So I actually had a 23 base manual and it was awesome but I will say if you don't need a super capable hardcore off-roader, the bronco sports, is a better choice and with a badlands trim. Unless you need a lot more clearance, you can really still get a super capable vehicle and have the benefits of something that's easier to park, better gas, mileage, etc. And I will say that that the hardtop is super noisy and even on my 23 brand new you could tell on the outside how they sealed it was terrible.

I will also say though I loved my full-size bronco so much and besides a few things it was a super awesome vehicle. If they can just get that hard top built better and also the windshields were super susceptible to cracking. I think there was a couple other things but they were all small. It really was a great car. At least mine. I did hear there were more problems if you got the V6 or some of the higher trims or the advanced four-wheel drive system.

We got a 21 BS/BB & my wife loves it & that is all that matters. She has previously owned a 99 Explorer Sport, 08 Escape, 99 Explorer Sport, 94 Explorer Sport, & a 85 Bronco II so a BS was a natural next step. We were at the local dealer this past Friday & they have a few 2 door Bronco's which is what my wife really wanted, but at 57K it is a no go. Waaaaaaaaaaaay to pricey for two people that are on the verge of retirement.

My Badlands is more than capable to get me to the hiking trails I want to go to, and I average 25.6 mpg. I thought about buying a full size bronco when I ordered my bronco sport, and the lower mpg and features per dollar swayed my decision.

Bronco sport is already a bit too much car for my needs. I would probably go smaller. I'm not trying to impress anyone.

No I would not move down to a 6G Bronco. I have an LR4 that is miles above it in every category and the BSport is the perfect companion to fill my garage.

Have no desire for a bigger platform. Really loving the Bronco Sport. Lady has an Explorer with third row and I have a Maverick that should be here in a few days.

I would have bought a full size, but the current price was not in our budget, so we went with the Bronco Sport.

I’m on the same boat. I NEEDED an upgrade so just went with the baby bronco for now. I’m super happy with it tho, no complaints. I know in a year or 2 we’ll be in a better place financially. So living in south Florida, I would love to get the Everglades trim.

I voted yes to moving up to a full size Bronco , but I have not driven one or sat in one. I find the Bronco Sport to really drive like a sports car. I feel like my Bronco Sport would out handle my Ecoboost Mustang. The little 1.5 liter 3 cylinder engine really accelerates with the auto trans. I dont know if I could outrun my BS with my manual trans Ecoboost Mustang. Ford sure surprised me by how well they engineered the BS. I dont know if the big Bronco would be as sporty as the BS.

It’s a completely different feel in my opinion and I have both. Like you say, the BS drives more like a sports car and the FS more like a truck. I have the Heritage Edition with the modtop and there is more road a wind noise but it’s a blast to drive. Even with 35 inch tires, it handles pretty reasonably. Gas mileage isn’t great but way better than my Lightning. I got the Sport because my dealer offered me a great deal while I waited for my FS. I hadn’t planned on keeping it once the FS came in but have grown to really like it for its usefulness. So now I have both. The wife isn’t so keen on it but there are worse bad habits in life.

Hard no for me. I'll stick with my sport for here on out. After this whole union deal went through. It changed my mind on buying any new or used vehicle from the big 3. I cannot faithfully support them by buying their vehicles. My next will be a foreign model of some sort

Hey it finally came in, congrats, looks great. And glad to hear the little Sport has grown on you. And I agree it really is a good utilitarian car. It does nothing the best but the engine is strong and its really pretty decent all around.
