We just returned from a 3,480 mile Thanksgiving visit round trip marathon drive. The Bronco Sport Badlands was awesome we were driving 80-85 mph when traffic would allow and net mpg for this trip was 26.9.
Great write up and thanks for all the pictures. As I reminisce a bit I'm glad you were impressed by Moab. I grew up in the Southwest and went to Moab in the '80s and '90s when it was barely a blip on the road and when a locking rear diff was like gold and driver skill was paramount to making a...
Here's our two rides safely tucked in. 2023 BSport and 2012 LR4. Best two vehicles we've owned in our 38 years of marriage! The pics that follow start on the wall where you see the golf clubs. There is so much packed into my garage I sometimes can't believe it myself.
I just had my PA state inspection last week on my '23 BSBL with 17,750 miles. Stock Pirellis are down to 6/32" !!!! Crazy fast wear outs and I have had them rotated 3 times to date.
Great idea - my solution is kludgy in comparison. I will definitely consider your solution next time I load 'em up to see if these side tiedowns will work with my 17 foot sea kayak.
Hauled 3 of the 11 feet long fence rails to repair my split rail fence. These dudes weigh 50 pounds each. Ratchet straps snug them down to the factory cross bars, worked great!
Here is my related post on this topic. Will also add that in my experience Ford fuel gauges are non linear especially when the level drops below half a tank.

Yup that's a drag but the frustration is to be directed at Apple, not Ford. A bit blunt I realize but that's the Apple Operating System environment for you.
I received a recall notice in the mail for this issue on my BSport Badlands. Ford's remote service team is coming to my home Friday to install the update. I have not had an issue.
This was posted yesterday on YouTube. TFL does a decent job of going thru different drive options and the difficulty of coming up with definitions……even electric off roaders that have one gear with 4 motors. I will ask the moderator to delete the thread I created earlier today not realizing this...
Thanks for posting. I really need this for when I have my workout shorts on as the key fob often falls out of my pocket and is annoying to have to find.
Love that trailer! I load two lake/sea kayaks - a 14.5' and a 17' on top of the BSport by myself and believe me a trailer sounds better and better every time we go out!
I have cloth rags duct taped to the rope. The rags press against the paint and bumper. I used this method for years on my LR4 with no issues and this trip proved the same with the BSport.
