My 2021 BL doesn't have a driver memory seat. I think they became standard in 2023.

I was wondering what are your thoughts about retrofitting that feature into a 2021.

Obviously, a new door panel or possibly just the upper portion, and a new switch.

I don't know if the wiring would be in place or if any programming would be needed.

On the 2023's, are the mirrors also memory or just the seats?

Anyone here who has looked into doing this or
actually did the conversion?

No, not standard. On the BL, it requires the Premium Package option, which includes moonroof, leather seats, (ActiveX), wireless phone charger, B&O sound system.

What is retrofit? Got a link?

FWIW the memory seat is, like the other electronics on this thing wonky. Sometimes it returns to my position, sometimes it doesn't. Not being able to hit the button while underway is annoying as hell. You're really not missing anything by not having it.

Just handy with 2 drivers. I've had it on numerous car's and found it worth having.

Retrofit is also what wireman said .. “ I did see that post. About a year old so I was hoping someone did it or had some new info “

I don’t have the link handy but it’s on Bronco sport forum… sounds like is not worth looking at (no new info)

I misread it, thinking that there was a forum/site called Retrofit I was not aware of...

Totally agree, I think it’s aggravating. Also the mirrors are not on the memory

On the 23 OB at least the mirrors are part of the memory.

I would think that the mirror memory would be part of the option.

At least it was on my 2018 Escape Titanium.

Thanks for the clarification.

My 23 has both ...seats and the mirrors work together.
