I am curious, does anyone know if the Sync4 boots up faster than Sync3? Compared to some other vehicles that I have rented for work trips, the BS was always the slowest.

SYNC 4 is considered significantly faster, with substantially more processing power & improved computing capabilities due to its cloud connectivity, making it noticeably quicker in response time & overall system operation; essentially, SYNC 4 offers double the processing power when compared to SYNC 3.

Honestly, I've never used SYNC3, but I do use SYNC4 and it works great and loads up very quickly!

I don't know about Sync 4 but Sync 3 is flaky. Sometimes, the screen comes alive when I open the car door and sometimes, it stays black for many seconds, even after the engine is started. Not repeatedly reproducible, so no way to diagnose it at the dealership. Before anyone asks, yes I have the latest Sync 3.4 Build 23188. I checked it when I got delivery of the car.
I suspect the delay is caused by a delayed connection to Bluetooth on my phone.

I have also never used SYNC 3, but I can tell you that SYNC 4 boots up and establishes wireless connection with my phone in under a minute.

We've owned SYNC 3-equipped Fords since SYNC 3 was first introduced. Every issue we've ever experienced with SYNC has been resolved by updating to the latest build or a master reset. I usually delete all reference to SYNC on my mobile device and clear the cache/data for Android Auto at the same time.

i've actually tried a master reset on my car, deleted and reinstalled Ford Pass, and Deleted Android Auto ( I don't use it). Not a big concern as long as the screen eventually comes on. I had deleted Android Auto from my cell before taking delivery of my car a year ago. That confused my salsman when he couldn't get AA to work. Eventually I told him why he couldn't get it to work.
I've reinstalled Android Auto to see if it affected the screen blackout, and fund no difference. Sometimes the screen i n when I enter the car and sometimes it stays black for a few seconds, as much as 10 seconds sometimes.
My previous car had Sync (Sync 1) and no modem. No remote functionality at all. Ford Pass and Sync were totally useless without a modem. Back then the modem was an option, and the '17 Escape that I had was bare bones, except for 2 options: 2.0 liter engine and the cold weather package (heated seats, heated side mirrors, and PTC heater). It was dealer stock. I miss having that PTC heater, not available on the Badlands 2.0 liter.
Fortunately, the '24 has all manual controls, unlike the '25s and many other cars. I primarily use the screen for the front and rear cameras.

hence Sync 4
I can do without it. Touch screens do not belong in cars, especially Sync 4 which moves many functions to the touch screen. They are built-in distracted driving. Stupid Ford and other manufacturers to not recognize it!
I'm very happy to have a '24 and not a '25 Bronco Sport. I would have liked a moonroof, even though two of my cars had moonroofs that broke and the repair costs were huge. But Ford bundles things in a manner that are deal killers for me. To have the moonroof in a '24 BS BL (or earlier) required the Premium package, which includes leather seats. That is a deal killer for me. I've had leather in a couple of cars and find that they are just about as uncomfortable when you first get in your car, as vinyl seats in summer, and even with heated seats in the winter. Cloth seats are not an option on the '25 Badlands.
OTOH, there are things that I really do like about the '25 Badlands: foremost, the 360 degree camera, and the inclusion of Copilot 360 Assist 2.0 as standard equipment. And it is nice to see that others are really enjoying their new cars.
Even though my car is only a year old, and there are things I don't like about the new models, it's hard not to get New Car Envy :).

What i find helpful is I love how it is voice activated! Can tell it what temperature you want, what music you want to hear and other suggestions!!
