It's right on the window sticker.
It's just that the 2022s only have it in the door handles and footwells. The cupholders were done away with.
I saw that led light bar too in my OB when I installed the cup holder with ambient lighting. I was hoping the cup holder had a plug to include that but I couldn't find any such plug. Does anyone have an idea how to plug this led light bar for the phone charger area?Anyone notice that when you remove the console cover, there is another spot at the front for ambient lighting in the phone tray? There's even a dummy light diffuser for it!

Does the BL have any ambient lighting at all? I didn't think that would be a trim level specific thing between the BL and the OB. I got a BL with everything on it scheduled for production and would be disappointed if all ambient lighting was missing. I knew the cupholder ambient lighting wasn't a thing. But I would've thought some ambient lighting was available in all trim levels.
Nada. Unless you consider the lights above as ambient.

I ordered the cupholder anyway, nope no harness for me, but I’m going to tap into the “Parking Brake blue light and have my cup holders lit !!!

Our Explorer sport has it as well as the ancient 2012 fusion.
Never really thought of it as a have to have item.
However, if it’s on the window sticker or in the order catalog or dealer handouts, you better damn well get it.
The nit picky penny pinching is ridiculous but when you extrapolate 50 cents, $2, $3, $6 etc times tens of thousands, pretty soon you are talking some serious dollar amounts.
