My 2021 BSBL with 37500 miles has made this noise for a couple years. As soon as I go forward and press the brakes once, it doesn’t do it. My Bronco has been nearly perfect and this annoying little sound won’t change my love for my Bronco Sport.

Is the noise still present after a pad change? Was thinking about going with the powerstop z36s carbon ceramic pads. Rears are at 5mm and fronts are at 8mm right now

Unless you are going to the track there's no reason for carbon ceramic. Ceramic are just fine. But when I was looking the z17 and z36 were only a few dollars difference. I went with the z17

Well I tow with my trailer alot. Sometimes close to the max tow rating of the sport. I have the z26s on my mustang and like the feel and also keeps the wheels clean. The carbon in the pad is supposed to increase the bite that you lose with just ceramic. I don't mind the extra few dollars. I save plenty just doing the labor myself.

But also curious if a pad swap gets rid of this noise. Guess il update when I do them in 10k miles.

Thanks for the info. My rig is quite a bit out of warrantee, but when the time comes I'll be ordering the bushing and spring kits suggested in the bulletin to go with the ceramic pads/drilled-slotted rotors I plan to replace the stock items with.

I've used Powerstop's pad and rotor kits on my last 3 vehicles. Outstanding products, never been disappointed in their performance. I NEVER skimp on brakes or suspension components. If your rig doesn't run, it's inconvenient for sure but if you can't control it, you're going to hurt yourself or others. For $298 (+shipping at "Crock-Auto"), I'd sleep better knowing I have superior braking.
