This is saying "we made your waiting room better while you get your 9 recalls done"......Just make better cars Ford. I feel like the only great engines are the 5.0 and 2.3L
I have about 4 years left on my extended warranty so I made the decision to get a Honda passport trailsport or something similar when it's up or maybe hit 100k miles (6.5 years eta) I can use the money to pay my home off in 3 years so the interest saved from that will pay for the new car...
So my rdu is going out and getting replaced by the dealership. This tsb is a new one that basically has the dealership try to rebuild the bad rdu as a fix using the special tools instead of replacing it which is cheaper for Ford. My service provider told me this and said that they don't have the...
I agree completely.. As unfortunate as it sounds trading it while it's worth something may be the best solution for peace of mind. Ford makes some good trucks and the mustang with the 5.0. Those stand the test of time. My mustang is 6 years old and hasn't given me 1 issue.. And I beat on that...
I've already test drove the one pictured. And negotiated a little on it. It's currently at the dealership and I'm off Wednesday morning so I need to think fast.. This trailsport is the elite model, if I was spending the money I figured I'd get what I really want.
Honda has been pretty good with first year releases I think. But your right it will stand the test of time. For me its a bummer to have to pay for Honda link to start my car from my phone and no homelink plus worse gas mileage. I'm just kind of at a point in my personal life that I need some...
Kinda concerned with the longevity of my Bronco sport. At 30k miles I've had the recalls done. Tsb for rear brakes. And a radiator leak, now my Rdu is acting up. Yeah stuff happens but I'm kind of let down. Warranty will fix the issues but my mind will start to wonder what's next on the list...
Hydroplaning is not necessarily the same as wet traction. Their's the amount of grip when the tire compound gets wet /cold and theirs also the tires ability to disperse water. All tires will be worse and awful as they wear down. Here are the scores on tire rack contrary of what was said about...
Traction on wet and dry is what they say for the weatherpeaks (is marginal) but are you really breaking traction in a awd BS? 1.5 if that? I'd say if op lives where it snows definitely get them. But their are plenty options out there.
I'm saying they are too cheap sometimes and it bites them back when they have to do recalls which requires warranty work that they themselves have to pay for. This makes the cost even higher than if they had just did it right the first time.

True..but the amount of defects are very avoidable but they want to save 1 cent on a part and end up spending 20$ to replace it for a recall. Ontop of that you have to waste your time going through the awful dealership network to get anything done with lackluster work by people who don't...
I don't know the value in this.. I've done this on my mustang but that's a sports car and can go fast. The bronco not so much. Not knockin ya. Just my opinion.
The dash for sure. I seen a video of 4d tech doing the center console to get the cover off underneath the ac controls for 2 bolts but I think I can do that without taking the center console out. And yeah, gonna use a Pac harness to route the acm output to the input of the kicker, then loop back...
So I just picked up the kicker key amp and was trying to find a good spot to put it. I came up with a solution that is bolt on and almost factory-ish that is less than 10$ but involves some custom work.
I used 2 corner brackets
2 bolts and 2 lock nuts
1 50 pound rated zip tie.
Some foam tape...
I test drove the big one. It's definitely more of a toy which I already have my mustang for. I kinda need practical in my daily as possible but as long as your happy I'm happy. Here's my other horse in the stable for the weekend summer days.
I found out how to tweak the eq to flat but the head unit itself starts to clip around volume 22. I plan to buy a kicker key and go that route just been lazy. Do you have any questions?
Ive had them on mine since 5k miles. I'm at 31k now. I definitely am happy with them. They make it more comfortable for long drives and less pressure off my knees. It's not perfect but I can drive a good 3-4 hours now before I need to stretch. That's almost double what it was before. Do yourself...
Idk next one I'm thinking maybe Honda passport off-road edition, Toyota land cruiser or the Mazda cx90. I love my Bronco but the recalls are annoying say the least. Ford did us dirty by removing features & not finding proper solutions for the mistakes. I'll ride this little truck till 150k(30k...
