Looks like every other "computer mouse" / "melting jelly bean" style small SUV over the past 10 years.
Aesthetics aside, my old Jeep Compass was such a pile of **** that I've sworn off anything from whatever globo-conglomerate owns the Dodge and Jeep brands these days.
But given that the...
CarMax gave me $$$$ for my Big Bend last December. Carvana was significantly lower, even back then. Only downside is that CarMax might make you come in for an appraisal, but maybe not now that 21's are more common on the used market.
True, however do many other new vehicles have jumps comparable to the 1.5L -> 2.0L? Or put differently, I feel like the delta between the Badlands and the other trims makes it feel like I'm driving a different vehicle, as opposed to "more goodies with the higher trim."
Agreed, I wouldn't go back to a 1.5L on the Sport. I'm not really a lead foot but having the extra power makes all the difference for merging and passing. On my usual route, I have to make a left turn, where I have a very short stretch to merge into traffic, which is coming at me around a bend...
@GizzardLizard those renders look great. The white really pops with the blue. I'm 50/50 on doing a white roof wrap on my Cactus Grey Badlands. I worry that there won't be enough contrast for the white too look good with the grey.
Testing different configs now. Short drives are OK -- not comfortable but not painful. Drove for two straight hours recently and my back ached for the rest of the day.
I ordered this small cushion recommended in another thread. The seat size doesn't leave much room for larger cushions. My hope...
Exact same symptoms on my old Big Bend. I was able to consistently reproduce the noise by cruising in parking lots at 1400-1500 RPM. One mechanic basically told me it's not an issue because Ford transmissions are just loud.
I'll get to the point: if you're considering a Bronco Sport and can afford both the cost and wait time, place an order for a Badlands with the 2.0L engine. But think twice about the Premium Package.
Background: Sold my 21 Big Bend to CarMax for a nice profit last December. Placed an order for a...
Simplifying trims/options makes sense. I was looking at the new CX-50 on Mazda's site and there's like 10 poorly-named trims to shop; maybe this gives the sales department something to do / ample upsell opportunities?
What's annoying, though, is Ford removing bits and bobs without telling...
Temp work, everything from helping the range management program to cleaning up trails to field mapping. Was a fun few years, the puke green F-150 served us well. Best work truck dollar for dollar then and now.
Ah, that explains it. I worked for the USFS many years ago during what must have been the puke green -> white switchover. My team ordered a new F-150, my boss expected it to be white. A puke green F-150 shows up, which was fantastic because my boss absolutely hated that color.
Another sea change from the pandemic era. A huge number of people placed retail orders for the first time and saw that too many dealerships are a value detractor under that paradigm. Like you said, it's one thing to "play the game" when there's inventory, new vehicles flooding the lot, and the...
