Looks really nice! When can we expect a version for the BS? ;)
I know! I want to lower the height of our basket too. Even before the lift. Our rail system is a bit different. And I kind of like the over hang of the crossbars. Eventually I want to get a nice awning on one side and a water storage on the other side, for camp showers and rock hounding or whatever you might need water for.

Here's a pretty much terrible photo

Drove over to one of the local ford dealers to see if they had a badlands sasquatch to do a height comparison. Ended up talking to a salesman naturally. Nice young guy, but didn't know much about the products. Not just sports... explorers, full size broncos and sports. He said he's only been there 6 months though. Said they didn't have any. They had one, but it wasn't on the lot. Seen it after leaving a Walmart across the street. They had one on display not anywhere I could park next to it.

After seeing a recent thread about rear camera lens damage, I decided to cover front and rear cameras with paint protection film. Took a few tries to get a good enough circle cut out. Will see if they survive a car wash

I could probably cover mine with electrical tape and it would be just as useful for me. My wife is constantly reminding me it’s there. Some habits are hard to break!

I’ve got so much Avery Dennison PPF… and I’ve got a vinyl cutter.

I can make a damn good circle. Lol

Well that was more money for an alignment than I'm used to. Been a while and didn't account for the recalibration tech for the lane departure features.

Rear left camber triggering my OCD, ADHC, and AC/DC lol
Mine had the EXACT same rear left camber!

Summit racing sells adjustable upper control arms. $200 a piece. 😉

On mine it was the same reading on right rear on stock shocks. Not sure why they can’t adjust it out, but it’s not enough to worry me — tires are wearing just fine..

Yeah not worried about it. Toe would be worse.

I didn't shop around at all, first shop I called on Saturday was closed this one was open on Sunday but booked, so I scheduled Monday appointment. At first they said over the phone 150 for alignment with 1 year warranty. Or 250 for lifetime warranty. I told them the year of vehicle over the phone not sure why the difference in price when I arrived. Also no warranty just 1 time price. All for tech we don't use. Whatever. It's done now.

With 80% of sacramento roads basically all washboard and rutted out it drastically improved the ride quality. Not that I aim for potholes, they're just that bad.

Hi

I can see the cable running up along the side of the tailgate, but I’m not quite able to see how you actually routed it out of the cargo area.

Did you run it over the weather seal, under it, or is there some kind of pass-through point there?
Did you have to drill anything, or were you able to use an existing gap?

I’m trying to understand the exact path to replicate something similar without damaging the seal or causing water ingress.

Thanks in advance.

I ran it under the weather seal at the bottom of the trunk, the intention was to cut a small notch and bend it over to stop hard punching of the wires but I never got around to it and it never has caused any issues

Got it, thanks for the clarification.

On my Bronco Sport, it looks like the weather seal sits over a fairly sharp sheet metal edge, especially along most of the lateral section (didnt look the lower section). That’s what made me hesitate.

Is there a specific spot along the bottom where that edge is less sharp or more “forgiving”?
Or did you just route the cable there anyway and let the seal compress it against the metal?

My main concern is long-term insulation damage from that edge, especially since I often drive long distances on unpaved roads...

Thanks again for the insight.

I'll verify later when I can, but what I know I did was cut a tab out of the seal structure to reduce the pressure on the cable, with the long term plan being making two cuts on edge you noticed and hammering it down a bit to make a guide.
