I'll be honest, if I didn't hate working in the foot well area because of my back, I would probably tried either lowering it to the bottom of the bracket or angling it, but I believe it will always have the contact issue with the glove box opening.
That said, the molle panel is specifically...
Technically a few months ago, but i installed a Midland MXT575 GRMS Radio in my car, Tried doing it the "temporarily permanent" style most of my work is, and hit the classic problems i create.
I drilled holes in my JCR Offroad side Molle Panels for the Midlands mount and had to use some...
From my experience, I did fully deburr the stock tube when I cut it, and the inlet tube on the MRT Axelback did not appear out of round, rather, it was the exact same diameter of the stock tube, so there was no way it was sleeving over or inside of the stock tube
Not to celebrate other peoples struggles, but this is the exact issue i ran into when trying to install this muffler as well. So i'm glad to see its clearly a design issue and not me being to dumb to install it.
Similarly i tried using heat to expand the flanges, but ended up mangling the end...
Kind of an odd build update, as it's not technically a direct modification to the car, but my wife and I were invited to join in a camping trip around the Ichetucknee State Park and it gave me resolve a project ID been considering for a while.
More Exterior Dry Storage
See, with the summer...
Yes, I have one stored in my overhead cargo. Just know they are not quick, nor easy. But short of getting one of those odd wheel winches, kinda the best solution for the front end
I don't see install instructions listed online for it, but from the images and the fact that it fits non-badlands models, it appears to only attach with the two face bolts on each side that any other manufacturer nudge bar attaches to
I would be hesitant to believe the FordRangerLifts nudge bar is recovery rated unless they at a minimum also attached with the 30mm bolts that sit at the rear of the Badlands Towhook in addition to the front bolts. Otherwise there is no reason to believe they are rated for the same work as the...
Today I installed the MRT Axelback exhaust for my Badlands. In classic fashion it didn't go great for me. Read instructions ahead of time and have a real cutting tool, not a hand saw and a Dremel. After spending far too long cutting the muffler off, I ran into my biggest hurdle. Now IDK if I'm...
Outside of as backlights they dont get used much. The few times i have used them they were really usefull, but that was mostly for unloading U-haul trucks in the dark. I dont regret the Pros but i dont think my life would be much different with the sports
