Right.
I bought the OBD2 dongle first thing after I got my BS because I was too intimidated to try Forscan. However, if Forscan can be configured to make my BS default to Sport Mode at start up I might gather the courage to try and use it. Do you know if it can do this?

For me since battery replacement ASS is pretty much transparent on my Badlands. My experience with ASS on the 1.5 models is a different story, it acts clunky and unrefined, I definitely would disable it on the 1.5 if that's considered normal operation.

I let ASS run when I first got my BS. After the “battery bungle” and watching the battery voltage I started turning ASS off each time I start up. Almost all my drives are short time/distance so I don’t want to take chances. I do, however, let the ASS run on long trips when I’m sure battery will get full charge.

I installed the AutoStop eliminator in mine. Automatically disables it when car starts but if you push the button you can enable it. Hardest part was disconnecting the OEM connector under dash. Total install less than 15 minutes with securing with zip tie out of sight. I love it well worth the expense if you hated this function as much as I did.

about that "climate participation trophy"
nothing more than a daily reminder that you are going to acquiesce
after all, you are a direct causation to it's inception
BUT
then we have this
https://tempest.aos.wisc.edu/radar/us3comphtml5.html
if you wish to see real participation
check the link between the hours of 10pm and 7am EST
BUT
at least we'll still have our stop/start to remind us to conform

Once Trump does the Executive order or whatever, maybe dealers then will program vehicles to stop it if customers ask whether buying new or in for service.

My 1st car (legally on the road) was a 68 Falcon, 170-6 3 on the tree. Being who I am, I bought a totaled 68 Mustang GT, 390 4-speed which was [almost] a bolt-in. It had a stupid for street radical cam, 12-1s and would die at stops consistently (didn't like anything under 2k rpm). It was at best annoying then, and [was] annoying now. 5-Star thankfully deleted that ridiculous feature with the tunes I purchased. Thank you Lee Zeldin for addressing this stupid idea.
