This seems like so not a big deal - happens at start up so you'll obviously see.
Friend had a BMW where the digital cluster would shift to the right so far that you couldn't see the speedometer - while you were driving. And no way to fix until you parked and shut it off.
I would try Hyperdip / plastidip. You don't need any technique at all (except not over spraying so there's drips). Just spray all over and peel off what's on the car body. Film stays on the letters until you want to remove it.
It looks and applies like a spray paint can, forms a removable film. Super easy: Mask box around all of the letters, apply 4 to 8 coats and peel off the film around the letters from on the body. Film stays on letters, but can be peeled off later if you want.
Application videos here...
I did Hyperdip piano black (plastidip but a smoother finish) for the rear and solid plastic shells that completely cover the entire white letter on the front.

Looks like a souped up Jeep Renegade. Which, in my opinion, is not a good thing. The styling of the old FJ was much better (sans the miniscule front windshield height).
As for the size though. It looks small in the photos, but gigantic when the person in the video is standing next to them!

I just ended up putting it in the fuel door. The exterior snap-on bracket that surrounds the keypad makes the unit too large to fit and still properly latch (needs to be a small distance from the circle surrounding the peg because there is a larger piece that mates on the vehicle side), but...
You cannot. It's sealed for weatherproofing. You need to buy a new one for like $200 including mandatory dealer activation.
I guess when mine dies. I'll try to crack it open and see.
Distance wise, it works from the fuel door or area on the underside of the rear camera.
It really wouldn't fit right on the roof rail since I don't think there's enough flat surface. But it could go flat under the rail, like so. Though I am sure it's rated for outdoor use. I am sure they didn't...
Actually, I live in a city so I rarely travel by personal vehicle, and have code or card locks on my house and work, so carrying a bulky key is something I am not used to, and don't like. Plus, I don't have a garage and like coopny, I often want something from the vehicle when I am walking by...
Do you have a 2025 model? It is listed is not compatible with the 2025 model on the website. Though that would be an absolutely preferrable option, I imagine that the internal wiring was deleted. You have to take the entire door apart including removing the glass to check, so I am not going to...
I hate carrying things in my pocket and would love to be able to leave the key in the car (along with my phone at times). I tested it and you don't even need a faraday bag to lock the key inside.
2025 models don't have integrated keyless entry keypad anymore, and instead they have a dealer installed ugly plastic stick on box. I had the dealer not stick it on the door and just give it to me.
I have seen many posts and videos of relocating the keyless keypad to the inside of the fuel door...
