Manual says No chains or cable on 235’s. I imagine it applies to 245’s as well.
Right it would just be having something as a technicality. If ever had to chain the sport, weather conditions would be bad enough I wouldn't be on the road in the first place

CHP has some weird chain regulations. I can carry chains that don’t even fit and meet the R1 regs, but If R2 goes up I have to chain tires and said chains will not clear my wheel wells. On top of that I have snow tires and 4x. It’s that way because too many don’t have a clue about snow. Sad, but true.

Started on the vinyl letter overlays got to the N on the rear hatch and really didn't like the way it looked.

Installed the Damond Motorsports brake bushing kits and changed the pads to the power stop Z17. I always spray the back of new pads with disc brake quiet also. Went through the bedding process and these are so much better. Before I would hold my foot on the brake and it's like they would fade towards the end of the stop sometimes. I would have to press harder to actually come to a complete stop instead of just coming to a stop with even pressure. The inconsistent performance was super annoying. Took me less than an hour. Honestly the hardest part was getting the new dust boots on. They're super snug.

For the Damond Motorsports bushings I purchased the rear for the bronco sport and the front for the escape, but they're the same size, so either do the same or buy two kits for the rear

Also now the sport actually has Damond parts on it not just the rear licence plate frame. I had it from motor mount kit for the ST and used it for hiding the wire for the reverse boost bar light.

You have been busy for sure with your upgrades.

Wondering if you looked for LED turn signals. I can't find any. Must be a reason, possibly issues with the BCM.

Yeah I replaced the reverse, brake, and turn signals in the rear. Turn signals are 921. 194 is the same base.

The reverse lights and brake lights are morimoto.

The turn signals were harder to find what I wanted in amber but they're something like this. No canbus, didn't need it, fixed lamp out errors in forscan.

F150 leds sells a pair for $40 that is just smd chips on a pcb board. But I think it's error free.

still waiting on steeda shipment. I did however get a phone call from a JRC representative. I missed the call but he left a voicemail saying thanks for the purchase, nothing wrong with the order but never had an auto parts company do that. pretty cool customer service!

So the install literally takes 2 minutes but I didn't known you had to move this one PCV hose out of the way and didn't Want to just leave it hanging around. STEEDA included 2 zip ties. Not good enough. I made some extension tabs for the factory mount out of an old Sawzall blade. Might make it again better and paint it and use some better fasteners.

I’ve been thinking about the Steeda bar. I would like to hear how the handling changes after installation.
Good job improvising the stand off bracket for the hose.

I still haven't driven it much myself. I'm trusting that it does something at this point. Little different since every other strut tower brace I've had was under a lot more tension, but those were 4 point designs.

I'm sure anything will help this little unibody but I will update soon. Were going on a road trip soon

Nothing new, just cut some sheet metal and painted it to replace the recip saw blade mounting tabs. I wanted to use rivets but didn't have the right size. Just painted the same hardware and shortened the thread length. At least hides better.

I've seen on some other year badlands this pcv hose isn't there. Looks like the bung on the intake tube was plugged also. Thought that was weird.
