In case you couldn’t tell, I despise loose wires

These are Rigid Ignites, they make a bracket specifically for the Bronco Sport. They can be angled and put out a ton of light for their size. I wanted to be able to throw a bunch of light around the car when setting up for camp, or angled forward for better visibility on the sides of the trail. I’ve got two per side, each side pair controlled by its own switch.

I spent a lot of time making cables to make sure everything was nice and organized. I have 6x fused relays off the battery, controlled by 5x switch inputs from the cabin (I have an extra). At the moment it controls a set of lights on each side of the roof….but now I’ve got easy expansion if/when I need!

Everything is on waterproof plugs so I can easily swap around which switch controls which line. Everything is routed seamlessly through the body panels up the A pillar and tucked under the top rails to hide all the cabling

I covered the switches in a separate post. Overall stoked on how this project came out!

Beauty! How did you route the wires from the lights along the roof rails?
Thanks! If you use a plastic panel tool, you can shove the cable down the gap between the roof panel and the roof rail without too much trouble. There’s a channel underneath. For the front section over the A panel, there’s a channel underneath the weather stripping

Slick! How did you get the wires into the cabin?
I don’t have a good picture of it at the moment but I used the grommet in the drivers door area, it’s a bit of a pain to get up to but is in a super convenient area overall for running wires from the cabin to the engine bay. Comes out behind the dash above the hood latch. Runs to the engine bay along the inner part of the front fender, there are plenty of cutouts to run cables through from there

I used the grommet down by the pedals for my ACC retrofit so I didn’t want to reuse it (plus having to run all those wires down behind the battery would have been miserable)

Really like your setup. So much so I bought this rigid light kit. Can you tell me what gauge wire you used to wire your lights up? I’ll be wiring mine to an auxbeam switch box. Is 18 gauge too small?

thanks
