Story. Went to the Bronco offroadeo in TN. Gifted merch was a nice yeti 18oz rambler, black with a silver Bronco on it. It is super cool and fits the cup holder perfectly. I lost mine at the dog park🥵. I went to Yeti to replace it. No dice. I talked to Ford and they have ALL OF THEM. Not for...
Are you aware of the locks on each side of the platform? Put it in place and look on right/left sides near the windows. You will see arrows. Those lock the platform in place.
I may get yelled at for posting this but a quick search didn't turn this up. I was talking about cars with a couple guys yesterday, and one started complaining about the steering on his new F-150. He said it was too stiff when making turns or changing lanes. The other guy agreed, referring to...
I believe what’s going on is the tariffs. Our cars are built in Mexybut there’s more. It’s the chips, the electronics They come from everywhere and is trying to maintain a reasonable price point by using older chips on hand or none at all. I recall that Homelink may not be available on any...
I just got back from driving the 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands at the Maryville, TN Off-Rodeo. Of course, we had properly optioned 2025 Badlands to drive. (I have a 2024 Badlands Premium in Eruption Green). We encountered mud, ruts, rocks, streams, and fallen trees, among other obstacles. I was so...
I never thought about two pedal driving either. I was solo, so I was the only one who's neck got snapped a few times. Also, I was the last in the line so no one behind me was offended by my crummy driving! But it was great fun. My years of tracking various rides and auto crossing didn't help at...
We won on fun to drive and off-road ability. For the life of me I'll never understand the value of a CVT. It's a cop out to get better mileage over good tuning and performance.
No criticisms, but too many folks perhaps don't understand the 4WD locking diff functions on these cars. First and foremost, never drive on anything but dirt, mud, or snow with the rear diff locked... never. The off-road cardinal rule is don't use it until you need to. Don't lock 4WD, don't...
I’m going on year 2with Badlands and a happy experience today. We all ride playing music, pop, metal, r&b whatever. If you really want to experience this system (I’m not an audiophile) try listening to Pink Floyd’s “MONEY “ at level 18. I was amazed and hope you will be too.
Not a dumb question an all. At night, the rear camera is almost worthless! Why? It’s the friggin license plate lights! And it’s the same on all of them up to 2025 models when the license plate has been repositioned. The original placement was a major safety faux pas by the designers...
Just another money saver by Ford. It was announced. Look under your armrest. They took out the clip to hold a pencil. You can buy it for $9 on ford parts.
As far as off-road, the two major concerns are tires and clearance. Both can be improved but as I understand, Ford does not approve of adding a lift kit and may void your warranty... at least on suspension components?
You car does not have wireless CarPlay! Ford took it out to save a buck (grrrrr!). Go to Amazon… wireless CarPlay adapter … pick one. It will enable wireless CarPlay, an easy install.
Know that what you see here is a very small slice of the pie. I haven't so much as a small blip in my Badlands. The 3 other people I know on my islands, all 1.5L, have had no trouble either and one lady drives back and forth to Nashville every weekend She 60K+ miles on her '23 OB!
Not sure about the 2.3L going into the Bronco Sport, but I do know that my '24 Badlands is much faster than I anticipated. Never get left at a traffic light. If I'm heavy on the pedal, the rear tires "chirp" as the auto 4wd checks in even in normal! as for the gauges, mine are all digital...
