Do you really have to buy the escape cup holders? I saw a post about a guy just swapping out the console for a unit from an OBX?

THIS 100%. My 2021 was totaled and I miss that feature...
You could do what I did and order k2gz6a949b. It's the exact cover for the 2.0l but Lincoln badged. I took off the Lincoln badge and popped on a different one. These covers are readily available.

Not all years or models have the illuminated ones. Make sure they are illuminated. The same goes for the factory wiring. For my '23 OBX I had to tap in under the dash into the ambient wiring.

Wow!! I had no idea all this stuff was available. ? While on the topic of adds… anyone know where I can get a lighted Bronco emblem hitch cover? Please & thank you ??
What a difference the last letter makes! k2gz6a949a is the non-existent Ford cover, while k2gz6a949b is the very available Lincoln one.
I followed a lead I found on the Maverick forum. Also followed that post and used an old Saab "2.0 turbo" badge. But any badge will work. Just have to secure it (the Saab badge had retainers on the back so it secured rather well; reinforced it with super glue).
BTW, the cover requires two bolts/studs (PNs, below). Readily available, though stupidly over-priced. The one you can see in the upper left..., I should have figured out out thread size/pitch and bought a bolt and washer from the local Ace. The one you can't see is under the cover on the right-side and acts like a holding stud. Not sure I could have found something similar at Ace. Didn't try b/c I had already bought the Ford parts.

You plug the Ottocast in instead of your phone. Once you pair your phone with the Ottocast in bluetooth, it hooks up automatically. I just leave the phone on the wireless charger.

This thread inspired me to finally order the folding rear headrests. I get unreasonably annoyed when I have to scoot the front seats forward to drop the rears. I absolutely hate it, and it only seems to be needed when I'm already holding or balancing an item that's too big to fit in the back. Whoever made the decision to ship without these should be sentenced to a thousand reps of loading a slightly-too-big item when the front seats are too far back to drop the rears.
Has anyone noticed an appreciable difference in noise reduction with the fender/hood insulation or interior dash pieces? I don't find the BS to be terribly loud, just curious.

With the coup-like rear legroom the BSs have, foldable head rests are a must. Dropping the seats down to haul stuff regularly will be just that easier.
I find the BS the be surprising quiet on the road despite it have the shape of a Lego block. So me purchasing those missing insulation pieces is just to satiate my OCD. But if someone is on a tight budget, it can wait…
