Oh cool! So I can order parts on there and it ships to my local Ford? I think I read something like that.

I'm coming from Honda where I could either order it from my local dealer OR order it from a website (usually a dealer that sells it cheaper than locally) and have it shipped to my home but it adds S&H.

Yep you can ship it to your house (you have to pay shipping) or you can select your local Ford Dealer and have it shipped there for free. But if you are using your points to buy it they will charge you for shipping.

Sounds good! I don't mind waiting a few days for free shipping.

I haven't decided what I wanted to do with my points. I saw they expire after 2 years and my dealer supposedly gave me 2 free oil changes. That will probably last close to two years so I'm thinking I'll need to use them for accessories.

yeah I would give a 1/2in spacer a shot I think that could work, but I cannot find any at this time. LIke I said though not sure if I want to spend the money given that I just plan on bumping the tires up a size in the future ?

EDIT: just found these... opinions??? studs going to need trimmed?

I would suggest going with the Titan brand.
I wouldn't bother with anything smaller than a 1". Those would be like installing a washer and your studs could be too short unless you replace the studs with longer ones.

These are what I bought. Looks like they are on sale, but also sold out, but I've noticed that they come and go from stock. $120 for a full set. Check Amazon too. They stock that brand, but it's hard to find that bolt pattern a lot of times, that's why I went direct to Titan.

Not today, but this weekend I scratched the pillar plates on some branches, and then I got so much mud jammed up in the wheel wells that I'm not sure how I'll get it out.

Does that count?

Let it dry, then go jump over some speed bumps.

1) I agree if doing new tires in the future that don’t need spacers, stop thinking about them
2) 15mm or 20mm spacers should not need trimming or any other adjustments (CAVEAT: this is my understanding from all my reading but you have different wheels/tires so there is always a chance)
3) as for your two brands you posted, I am not familiar with them and they are much cheaper than companies like BONOSS. That doesn’t mean they are bad but I’d do my research! (at least search them in this forum to see if any feedback)
Whether or not the studs have to be trimmed is mostly a matter of wheel design. If the wheel has pockets between the lug holes, then you shouldn’t need to trim them. Of course if you go huge with the spacers then it doesn’t matter. If you go less than 20mm on the spacer then you probably need to get longer studs as the thinner spacers don’t have studs pressed into them, they are just a big washer with the hole pattern drilled into them.

I added two window stickers and had my letter overlays I bought from Ford put on today. The letters are Velocity Blue, the same color as my BS. I was worried they wouldn’t look good for that reason, but I felt it would look cool because I’ve seen from others who’ve done it, that the letters have a white outline. I’m very happy with the results!

On 245’s, the 20mm (.79”) are said to work. I’d be hopeful for the 1” (and possibly the 1.25”)
Good luck!

Nice Kent. I put a window sticker in my previous Sports that were Area 51 but I can’t decide if it would look right with the Yellowstone and white roof.
A decal might look alright if you match the red on the grille.

Installed some grill aka Raptor lights today. One of them is slightly crooked but it still looks good.

I wish AVS would make the Aeroskin2 like the one for the 6G Bronco with the lights built in.

Fender flare Friday! Some have had problems with these not staying on. I installed these myself, and I can tell you that you have to use considerable force to push the flares in far enough to get the installation clips to engage in the slots in the fender flares. If you had these installed on your car you might check to see if the clips are properly seated in the slots.

Installed a J&L OSC 3.0 Oil Separator

Quick an Easy Installation, I would also advise that you use Blue Loctite
on the Nut from the Alternator Bracket.

I have heard 2 different things on these oil separaters. If there is oil collecting there is something else going on? Whats the story?
