Wow. Maybe I should've said it feels like it's slipping. I have an extended warranty (I'm at 42k miles now) so maybe she was trying to hook me up? But I didn't want to go down the whole diagnostic route and all that.
I see you have a Badlands and I have the Big Bend. You have bit more room to crawl under. And I could have maybe been able to do that 20 years ago.
How did they get your transmission fluid covered? Are you under warranty? Did you say it was slipping or having issues shifting? The girl asked...
Congratulations! I really like my BS but about 6 months ago, I was getting tempted to either move to a larger one or a Passport. I came from Honda and kind of miss them but I really like the Bronco community. I ended up getting transferred and now have an hour commute. For now, I'm sticking...
I can use the pinch welds to jack it up but I don’t have enough room to get the jack stands in place.
I ended up going to Ford and buying a new cap. I’ll take my car in tomorrow and they’ll remove the panel with no charge. I wanted to get my transmission fluid changed but their quote went from...
I need to jack up my BS to pull off the skid plate and get my coolant cap out.
In my last car, there was a jack point in the center towards the front. This lifted the entire front end.
Is there something like this on the BS? In the manual, I can only see the jack points along the side.
I'm voting to make sure your air is flowing through the dashboard vents. If you have it on auto, I think it diverts the air to the bottom and maybe the windshield ones. I would say turn the fans on high, get everything nice and warm, and have someone sit in the back while you play around the...
Yeah I'm going to have to take it out. The skid plate is a pretty large area. I was thinking it might roll out down the highway but it also looks pretty sealed up. I don't want it bouncing around and getting somewhere it shouldn't be.
Nope. It sounded like it hit a few things, then hit the shield, then rolled around.
New one is $35 at my local Ford. I'm going to check how fast Levittown Ford can get it to me and see if I can crawl underneath the get to it. I don't think I can fit without jacking it up but maybe it's...
Are all those rubber covers all mounting points? I'm guessing you can also mount in the track with the proper attachment.
I'm thinking, at the most, I'd like a mount for my iPhone, GoPro, and either my GRMS radio or the mic for it.
Ok that makes sense. This is the first car I've owned with TPMS and I had a large puncture that deflated the tire within a minute during a heavy downpour. I wouldn't have known there was an issue as fast as I did if I didn't have TPMS.
I like the wireless mounts but I do not like wireless CarPlay. It's almost always me in the car so I'm thinking I'll get a regular MagSafe mount and maybe a GoPro and mic mount later. Although I haven't done much traveling to need those lately.
I’m looking for a mount for my iPhone. Everyone was on about the Bullet Point but some are saying Tackform does a better job. The thing is I can’t find much information on it.
Does anyone have one and can talk about how it attaches and any pros and cons?
A couple of days ago I noticed a small crack coming from the lower passenger side of my windshield. I haven't looked at the outside but inside, it looks to be about 18 inches long.
I called Safelite and was told it was too long to repair. I have not called my insurance to see if they cover...
I'm at 38k so I missed the 30k. I was transferred at work a few months back. I went from a 3.5 mile round trip to work to a 90 mile round trip. Those miles added up fast!
I'll get those other 3 fluids changed soon. My look Ford quoted $250 for the transmission.
