Where do y’all get the Bronco for the back? I thought it was just people on these forums but I’m seeing them all over town.

New wheels put on today. Raceline Compass 17x8 with a 30mm offset. So gives me about 0.8in protrude. Not quite flush with the bushwackers but looks much better. Plan is to move to 255/70 tire once suspension is installed and we should be sitting perfect.

Wheels I do like but I'm ocd and they are very black. Going to have to keep the tire wet handy at all times ?

You should put on 1" spacers and it will line up perfectly. They are cheap and easy to install.

well I've heard potential rubbing issues with 1.5in spacer with stock 38mm offset, this would put me at 1.8in from stock? will that be to much and rub pinch weld or am I getting my math wrong.

You will have rubbing at 1.5” spacer. I have 1.25” but the 235’s.

As for you math, the stock offset is 38mm and you said “30mm offset. So gives me about 0.8in protrude”. If I’m following you correctly, you minimized the offset 8mm (38 to 30) and not .8”. But really, this is all moot for you if you plan to do 255’s.

well here's where my math was from, the wheel is 8in instead of the 7in so I thought maybe that calculated into more offset? but 21mm is 0.8in is where I was getting that from

Mine did need some trimming done and I also did way more trimming than needed to be done, just to make sure. Several of the areas I removed the felt, then even split the felt where the firewall is soldered so that it allowed more space. Every little bit helps! What you could do is buy some spacers (they are cheap), put them on one front wheel and turn it to see what you got. I love the stance it gives me and even rides better.

yeah I would give a 1/2in spacer a shot I think that could work, but I cannot find any at this time. LIke I said though not sure if I want to spend the money given that I just plan on bumping the tires up a size in the future ?

EDIT: just found these... opinions??? studs going to need trimmed?

1) I agree if doing new tires in the future that don’t need spacers, stop thinking about them
2) 15mm or 20mm spacers should not need trimming or any other adjustments (CAVEAT: this is my understanding from all my reading but you have different wheels/tires so there is always a chance)
3) as for your two brands you posted, I am not familiar with them and they are much cheaper than companies like BONOSS. That doesn’t mean they are bad but I’d do my research! (at least search them in this forum to see if any feedback)
