One of mine came off once too and it was only windy on the highway. The BW brand (from Ford) are put on using clips AND double-sided tape. They redid all of them and are all very tight now with no issues. I love mine.

I don't see how you fit that tank in your Bronco! I have an older 2 gallon and it's 17" long. There's no way that it will fit there. I have the Badlands 2.1. Maybe that's why. I may have to get several 1 gallons and mount them on the back firewall.

I actually had someone else (Ford) install it, so I'm not sure. The console piece was easy. No disassembly required. Just used a self-tapping screw to hold the bracket to the trim, then attached the button unit to it from the sides. Easy access and not really seen by anyone but me as I'm driving.
