Drove up Mount Blue Sky (over 14k feet). Beautiful sunny day with hundred plus mile views before massive storm clouds blew in and ended the view. This sheep stopped traffic just below the peak in order to lick the salt off vehicles. Yes, my sport got licked by an ungulate.

You should have told it to keep licking until all the salt was off of your Bronco.

Got new shoes for Rex! Love the look for these 245/65/17 Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus.

I had these on a previous truck of mine. I really liked them. When I asked the tire guy about them he went on about how much he liked them. So much so, he put them on his own truck. I said, really? He reached in his pocket, pulled out his key fob and hit the lock button to make his truck beep. He pointed at it and said go check it out. So, I put them on my truck and never looked back.

He also pointed out the tread pattern is comprised of P's and S's (just a little Easter Egg).

Gave the baby Bronco a bath today. I also think this is the first time I’ve posted her in this thread so I guess I’ll mention the script emblem on the side, the red vinyl “R” on the front grill and back hatch which I think pops really nice on the blue, and lastly the BFG KO2s (245/65).

My favorite story to tell is the mechanic who installed the tires had a full size Bronco and when he saw how good the KO2s looked on the BS he said “If the sport would have came with those wheels stock I would have been very inclined to get that instead of the full size.”

Got this today from Amazon for $15, it has the ring around the neck so it hangs there while filling up.

To each his own but I don't understand the need for that piece. It's so convenient not having a cap anymore. Millions of vehicles are on the road with no cover and with no issues.

As you said, "to each his own" and there is obviously no real need for that piece. Is your BS exactly as from the factory or have you added anything that wasn't absolutely necessary? I didn't need the hood struts either, but did it anyway. Millions of vehicles don't have vent visors or flag decal on side windows, but I do. I like to play with my toys. But thanks for the input. .. ?

The items I added are functional and for a look I wanted. A gas cap serves no function. More of an inconvenience if anything but 'whatever floats your boat'.

The function of the gas cap is to make me happy, and it does. It's hardly an inconvenience to flip it on and off. And yes, "my boat is floated". Sorry that my plastic cap bothers you so much. ... ?

Good to know, thanks! Def post when you install the rear as well.
Finally got a chance to install the rear sway bar. In theory it's a super easy install. In reality, getting the oem bar out and the steeda bar in is a real PITA; unless you disconnect the drive shaft. I decided to leave the drive shaft alone. Several hours later, after lots of hand nicks, some sledge hammering, metal on metal surface damage and lots of four letter words, I was able to get the steeda bar on. The geometry of the bar and the tight space is just a bad combo. Thank goodness the bar is under the car and not visible because it definitely no longer looks new. Alas, I got it installed and will update you once I take it for a test drive. Here are some before and after shots, whatever I could manage anyway.

Youch. Sounds painful. Glad you got it in before having to take out the shaft. Here's hoping the drive is better with all the effort you put in!
