Not selling but was just curious about the BS value for trade in or buy. No number was given by Carvana and Carmax. They want to see it.
I sold my last couple of vehicles to Carvana and Carmax which were a higher number than the dealers.
The value from Vroom for my OBX with options and 2200 miles.

Good news!
We have your price.

We've priced your 2023 Ford Bronco Sport at:
$28,532.00

That seems pretty good but I'm not looking to sell either one of our BS's and the only thing I would probably want to buy is...another Bronco Sport.
$28,500 wouldn't do it.
Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays to you and yours too.
Maybe a '25 refresh BS for me if Ford has a 2.0L OBX option.

$12K under sticker.
Vehicles do lose a lot of value in the first year. Leftover '23s are going for $3k+ off sticker at some dealers.

One has to be careful of those advertised prices as some of the dealer offered incentives may be dependent on financing through the dealer.

For some reason, Carvana wants a live offer on my '23. My OBX retails on a Ford lot
for around $33K-36K asking price. Prices are all over the place.

Carmax same as Vroom and they are asking $36K with more mileage. LOL.

A lot of these used car franchises have taken a beating and are over loaded with inventory they overpaid for. I know you don't plan to sell, and neither do I, but its beginning of the end of the dominate used car market.

A few years ago, Carvana would add $2-$3k on the buy number. Those days are over because of what you stated. I sold my '19 Ranger to Carvana in 2020 and their number was $2K over what they gave me.

They aren't going to get $36k for a used OBX. Prices on the Sport have straight up collapsed. Plenty of dealers have new OBXs for less:

Ford Bronco Sport Vroom buy price on my BS 1703623584781

Ford Bronco Sport Vroom buy price on my BS 1703623616488

My point being, if dealers are selling OBXs new for $32k, that $26.5K offer from Vroom doesn't sound that bad. Most of us bought when the Sport was still somewhat supply limited. The crap interest rates coupled with the loss of the new novelty factor has created a glut of Sports. Heck, new Big Bends can be found for under $28k. I got what was a smoking deal from Granger at the time and that is $3k under what I paid. It sucks, but that is how markets work I suppose.

Badlands are a lot less available keeping their value more.
