Hi all,

Today while am driving on the freeway all of sudden my vehicle lost its acceleration power, while pressing the gas pedal it’s making sound but the vehicle moved very slow. I didn’t got any warningsTook an exit turned off the vehicle and started it came back to normal.

This is the first time I faced this issue for driving more than a year and half. I have full gas and my engine oil is due this week. Would like to know what could be the reason. I have warranty do I need to mention the issue at the time of oil change? Please pour in your suggestions and advices.

Thank you.

It could be Possible The Tubing for the Turbo came loose and you're losing Boost. So after you shut it off and started it again it ran fine?

Did you notice if the tachometer was moving as you pressed the accelerator pedal?

I would definitely discuss this issue with the service advisor.
Yes it was moving, ya I will inform this at the time of service.

Does that mean it became loose or something? Do I need to look into it or it’s automatic?

Did you check to see if you are part of the just expanded battery recall?

One battery recall was fixed. I don’t know if there’s any new recall.

this happened to me while I was parked thank goodness I wasn’t driving, I was just parked and my car just shut off. So I turned it back on and it ran normal after that. Then I checked and yes, I am part of that recall unfortunately.

Is it still not running right? I know on the F-150 Forum some guys had issues with the Tubes coming off or loose and losing boost and not running right.

That would be the first I've heard of a sport popping a charge pipe or turbo coupling. I doubt it's this if it's driving like normal again. You definitely feel the difference with a charge pipe off the intercooler. And would manually have to put it back on.
