Most ‘21s (all??) seem to report their Sync version to the Ford website within a month but the issue the Ford website has is with the ‘22 VINs (some at least), maybe ‘23s IDK. Ford is aware of the issue but there has been no fix.I have a '21 with 22251 installed. I installed it manually using a USB drive. The report-back-to-mama function didn't work on mine either--after installation Ford's support site still reported my system out of date. I stopped checking it. At some point over the next few months my car must have successfully phoned home and reported my system status, because it now says my system is up-to-date. I did a SYNC master reset during that time, and that may have been what forced the communication between my car and Ford's system, but I'm not certain about that.
