Sync 3.4 Build 21194 has been released for download and installation via USB flash drive. This is available from the Ford website.

I checked and the WiFi update directly from the vehicle is not available yet.

I am updating via USB flash drive now. I will let you know how it goes and if it addresses the known issues with SiriusXM and Travel Link.

Update took around 15 minutes with USB flash drive. After restarting the vehicle, I have Sync 3.4 Build 21194.

SiriusXM seems to work fine so far and SiriusXM Travel Link now works.

I will report back with any issues.

After the update, I inserted the USB flash drive to send the confirmation of the update.

There was no . xml file copied to the USB flash drive to send.

Thanks, Tom, for taking the lead on this and keeping us informed. The 21020 update really made me angry and frustrated last May, especially the Travel Link issues. I'm looking forward to your updates.

FYI: when I finally went the USB route on 21020, I didn't get a .xml file, either. Not sure that's such a big deal.

I have been doing the WiFi updates but decided to see just how easy the Flash Drive updates are since as someone previously posted the current update isn't available yet via WiFi.

Well I'm happy to report it is ridiculously easy and lightyears faster than doing it via WiFi. I'm also thrilled to report that this fixed all of my SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link issues. As soon as I restarted my vehicle I instantly had the traffic colorizations on the navigation map and when I switched to Travel Link I watched in real time as each service updated and became available. The whole process from inserting the drive to having full functionality took around 15 minutes.

This is my second time updating Sync via USB drive. The first did not produce an XML file after the update. This one did and I was able to upload via the webpage. I wonder if no log file means a partial or failed update.

My Bronco logged onto my WiFi yesterday and said it was downloading. I'll take a look later and see what I got.

Just checked and I've got Sync 3.4 Build 21194 so I guess the WiFi's working okay.

Bronco's still connected to the WiFi though.

Probably not the only one who finds it ominous, but I'm certainly not at all worried about it.

OTOH, I'm an Electronics Engineer and Programmer.

The only ominous part for me is the realization that some day my Bronco will be too out of date to get updates.

Update on Sync 3.4 Build 21194

I am no longer having any SiriusXM issues.

The no audio issue is gone. SiriusXM Travel Link is working great.

If you have not upgraded yet, what are you waiting for?

Uhhh so I just got done with this update and it rebooted and the message said successfully updated to 3.4 21194 and I do what I always do after an update on any piece of technology, I wanted that piece of mind that says "no update available, software current" something to that effect. And then THIS happens. It starts downloading a new version? It's doing it as I type this. Anyone having this happen? Also wouldn't 4U5T come before 5U5T? Cause 5U5T is what just completed. What's going on?

Oi. Thanks for clearing that up. So that was normal then. The 2nd part just finished. Version still says 3.4 21194. I'm guessing I'm good now.
