Just an update. They got the sensor in the mail Friday afternoon on the 20th. I was told they'd get it installed right away. So anyways, they called me later and said they'd get to it on Monday the 23rd. So, on the 23rd they told me the sensor was installed and the engine still wasn't starting...
It's pretty easy to find out with the right steps. Every dealership has a record of their customers and repairs done. You could even make an inquiry with their database providers like CDK Global and/or Reynolds and Reynolds. Customer privacy laws are crap in most states.
I've been seeing a lot of posts about exhaust smells coming into the cabin and replacing the catalytic converter to fix it. My own ride is in the shop and one of the reasons I originally wanted to bring it in was because of this.
So what's going to happen first? Class action lawsuit or a recall?
You might be able to run the wire from the existing exterior antenna mount. You could dremel the bottom of the antenna base to make it flush again with the wire and maybe some caulking to seal it. But, you wouldn't have to run it through the window.
I actually reached out to them last Friday.
Good news is that I found another seller. They said the part was new and on hand. Should hopefully ship some time today. With some luck maybe the dealership will have it by the end of the week.
Thanks, yeah I'll give them a call tomorrow when they open and see if they actually have it in stock. A lot of these dealership sites don't keep active inventory. You order, then they order from Ford and then ship you the part.
This dealer is an hour and half away, the other dealer is two hours in the other direction. It's rough being rural. There was a dealership 30 minutes away, but turns out Ford pulled their franchise half a year ago. Just as well because they scammed me on an install.
I called them asking if...
I noticed an exhaust smell around the start of November and made an appointment with my dealership who couldn't see the car till December 9th. During the week before Thanksgiving I noticed the Bronco was having trouble starting. Called the dealership, same story not till the 9th.
On the 29th of...
I've started to notice the smell of exhaust more with the heater on since it doesn't cycle cabin air. I'll be the only one on the road and get strong wiffs of exhaust.
Is there something I can check before taking it into the dealer to hunt down the issue?
That was the not so nice part, initially it was a couple hundred with the tubes etc. But mid install they approached saying that they quoted me for a different install and sprung $800 on me to do it/finish.
Got my 10k maintenance milestone finished and had them install a transmission oil cooler to finally complete my tow kit. Also had the lower b pillar on the driver side replaced. The clips broke either from a when the trailer hitch power cable was ran or from me jumping into the thing. Feels like...
I want a hybrid. I live in a rural area, the power can be spotty. There's no charge stations out here. And I have to drive a ways to get to anywhere. Hybrid would suit me just fine.

I wanted sync 4 so bad when I got the BS. I thought it was dumb that a new cars coming out had sync 4 while the BS, a brand new series release, was launching with sync 3.
I use android...

Someone else posted this a year or so back after installing it on their BS and I always thought it was neat. A hood mounted solar kit to keep your battery charged/maintained.
Did all the leg work on this a year ago!
